it wont affect save files.. but if u transfer players, it will overwrite it.. so u have to do it all over again

more or less the option file would have already had all the latest transfers anyways

nothing can say

about the online play.. it's still laggy eventhough i'm staying in europe..but not as bad as PES 2008.. hard to find someone with good connection.. most of them have average connection..
i think it's better for you to buy region 3 PES..

yay got my copy from uk.sister brought back.
anyways,the konami ID system is pretty stupid i have to say.. register this register that.. the EURO 2008 one was so simply and user-friendly! Konami can learn some things from FIFA series too to be honest. the online component mainly.
Went into the lobby but couldnt seem to get any games:
maybe i wasnt doing something right..
ah well..

got myself a copy...hehe...perfect gameplay man !!

Added on October 22, 2008, 3:06 pmtried the online play last nite...very lagging, but most of the time its the other player who lags and i'm playing here normally (sometimes)...not sure y is tat, as my screamyx is onli 512 but i found tat all the players from uk have "red light" indicating slow connection, while mine was "yellow/orange light" indicating average speed...very hard to play...wil try again tonite

angjk, is the gameplay much like simulations or still arcade?

FIFA 09 better or PES 2009 ? share ur thoughts here.. coz planing to get one..

just sharing my thoughts..

gameplay is definitely better than PES 2008..
a bit less arcadey..
nice improvement on graphics..
but FIFA still has better graphics..
i prefer PES gameplay and animation..
goal keeper and defenders have better AI..now it's hard to score from far..or to 'hockey' (pass from side inside penalty box)..
the down side is, there's less license than PES 2008.. this could be solved by downloading option file and kits..
oh yeah.. i dont like the music..
another one is konami ID to play online.. luckily i already registered for MGS 4.. lol..

the license and kit issue is easily fixed with the many awesome option files out right now..the kits that they've edited look fabulous!
i'm kinda okay with the graphics, better than PES2008, and good enough for moi. Was never that bothered anyways cause i cared about how the game plays, and for me well 2009 just keeps me coming back for more
pick up and play.
Btw, the music you can use your own music that you put into your ps3....

My grass/pitch (only when it's green) keep changing colour from dark green to light green.

Anyone know why?
