So, the demo is ok? Read on maxconsole and they hated it.
Well, I trust my fellow friends more than maxconsole's forumers. So, might be getting this game. Which region? It depends on PoP coz I wanna challenge him. Haha...

well even the gamplay rule,doesn't mean PES gameplay now still ruled. the same old boring style makes it boring. thus it's no more gameplay ruled by PES. it's fun,i enjoyed it like hell up till pes5. but not PES2008. come on,been playing the same old engine for pass 3-4 years. not this year again. enough to be cheated by SeabASS. this newly game i play is fun,i enjoyed and will get the ehem for pc. not gonna waste money for a robo football better play a good game with nice gameplay and tactical,even played with zombie other than robocop skating on the field and look on the other way when the referee booking them and the eyes looking awkwardly. keh..keh..

true enough bro..the gameplay is good but remain the same..tried the demo yesterday...player movement ok la but not as smooth as FIFA..

might be thinking again whether want to get this game or not...only one thing that attracted me is the Champions League mode..nice presentation

Ok, guys....what i want to said is try demo urself better hear the comment from FIFA fanboys. No one force urself buy the game you want. Even if the PES2008 gameplay not as good as PES6 or PES5, but still far more better than any FIFA soccer game.

The most important is, konami need to fix those laggy issue from PES/WE 2008 on the new title, otherwise the be a legend mode will be totally spoiled by it, no matter how fun the concept is..

Imagine if 4 ppl playing and see your teammate teleport from here to there, how to coordinate and pass ball to him?

As long as Konami can reduce the laggy part that is no doubt will be the best footy game again!

Yup, i really hope we got a chance to play online with oversea player like US or Europe. Have to sleep early n dream for it.

that's the problem with a fan boy. whenever people give a review bout the game after we actually tested the demo,people will start bashing saying us a FIFA fanboy,which in fact is totally wrong. i never play FIFA. FIFA09 is the 1st series i will play. this is due that PES2009 is PES2008.5. means nothing really new except kits and lighting. KONAMI need to sort this things up,and also the online lag. it's unplayable. ok. hope no more negative thoughts bout our opinion. you enjoy it,go and play it.a'ight.

lol no flames pls since this is a PES thread, lets just concentrate discussing about PES info only.

And the core thing about footy game is the gameplay, which i personally think that PES hold it for so many years. Yes its online play is suck, but i still strongly think that PES is means for those who really wanna taste real football, whereas if you're looking at franchise/ licensing kits/ better graphic just go ahead for FIFA. (i have also try Fifa demo before which i didn't like the players movement, it's weired)

Lets hope this time Konami can fix those online lag, then we can really enjoy playing with multinational players

i am a pes fan since ps1..
but for 2009 im getting both..
because fifa has a great graphics and like real gameplay..
but im still in love with pes master league..
no one can beat that..

so save more and get both!!

Lol.. a bit sad all this flaming over 2 great games.
Each person has their own preference..
I also believe PES has held the edge over FIFA for many many years.
This year finally FIFA has stepped up.
But since it's a PES thread, let's not get into saying oh FIFA is better, PES is crappier kinda nonsense.
The demo is out there for everyone to experience it. dont like it? fine; no need to compare it to FIFA <- this only incenses the PES fans.

I will personally stick to PES BECAUSE they have maintained (more or less) the quality of gameplay. I don't care much about online play because I usually gather my friends and we play on my ps3. End of story.

P.S just so that noobs to both PES and FIFA this year know.. FIFA has gotten to where it is BECAUSE it has emulated PES's gameplay. Up to the point where they even have the Alternate Analogue option for the controller scheme that is similar to the way PES is played ( Square to shoot, O to lob, Through pass etc )

Yeah, FIFA is getting a few of its ideas from PES, and vice versa.

For the past years, PES has been dominating the football gaming industry, but ever since the introduction of FIFA on the xbox360 and ps3, FIFA is starting to dominate.

PES on the other hand, had gotten next-gen gaming a bit wrong, with the example being PES 2008. It is a good game, no doubt, but full of bugs.

Hopefully la this year PES can prove to everyone that PES can once again be the dominant force in football gaming.

Whoever wins.. we gamers win..
Just get the better game. (Although as PES veteran i'm rooting for PES )
