Cool thumbup.gif btw is that his time will be same like previous that got 2 version, which are PES2009 and WE2009? If that is the case, i will wait for WE2009 to release by then wink.gif

WE used to be release a bit later than PES and got slightly improvement, anyone can confirm when is the release date for WE2009?

I will wait for later release of WE, coz it used to have slightly improvement end-product (e.g. transfer update, improve A.I. etc)

Anyone can confirm official release date for WE? (i know PES is 17.10.2008)

Haha i used to play Region 3 Winning Eleven, just like now i still playing WE2008 nod.gif

So definitely i'll buy it, just ar...i think WE & PES can't play together, and i prefer WE more, coz can play online with Honkie, Japanese, Sporian and etc. Asia players.. rclxms.gif And WE will be release a bit later than PES, as per the tradition.

zzzzzz after an hour still only reach 660MB, half of the demo rclxub.gif

maybe another 1 hours will complete downloading? hope so... grumble.gif shakehead.gif

@deadman8836, u need 8 hours to download Fifa demo? what is your broadband download speed? then you need to put it overnight in order to complete the downloading? sweat.gif

Edit: Just test the demo. my impression is the pace has been slow down (which is good), and player stat has been lower down, you cant use speedy player like messi or ronaldo to pass 2-3 defenders like last time (which is also a good improvement). i play the highest level (top star) the computer A.I. also smarter if compare to previous title. Overall this game should be my priorty choice for footy game thumbup.gif

No Fifa 09 please. I really can't stand with the unresponsive and awkward player movement (but their facial expression is better i must admit).

Have you all try to go to control setting there and set "on" for player selection?

It is up to 10 players that you can select and play the match, veryyyyyyyyyy funny drool.gif

I use Messi and feel good scoring after coordinate with the comp teammates laugh.gif I wish i can be the keeper but can't atm tongue.gif

Highly anticipate this game!! especially the "be a legend" mode, 4 ppl play and communicate in one team rclxm9.gif

ya just tap R2 twice and the players will raise his hand ask for passing. Yesterday i've been playing wth my friends and quiet a nice play where i play as Xavi and he plays as Messi in the same team, we both coordinate each other and with the comp as well, damn syiok thumbup.gif

The game has acquire Champ League license, but for EPL only Man Utd and Liverpool being fully license. Not to worry, there are plenty of option file available that can create those kits look like real life one tongue.gif So it's really doesn't matter.

To be frank i didn't sure there will be any psp format for PES2009. But looking at previous title, they have include with psp format, perhaps they will continuosly port to psp as well. As far as i know, there will be PS3, PS2, Xbox & PC format...

I only know about PS3 option file where i download from certain website into my pendrive, and open it in my PS3 and copy it to the option file, done.

Totally agree thumbup.gif especially lower down the pace of the game will no longer allow those speedy players to ruin the gameplay.

Now i really hope the online part will not be as lag as the previous title. If Konami can improve online issue, then the Legends mode will be VERY FUNNNNNNNNNNN rclxm9.gif

but at least their god-like skill already been lower down if compare to previous PES2008.

In PES2008, once ronaldo/ messi dribbling the ball, you can hardly chase them, or steal their ball, unless you tackle them recklessly.

The most important is, konami need to fix those laggy issue from PES/WE 2008 on the new title, otherwise the be a legend mode will be totally spoiled by it, no matter how fun the concept is..

Imagine if 4 ppl playing and see your teammate teleport from here to there, how to coordinate and pass ball to him?

As long as Konami can reduce the laggy part that is no doubt will be the best footy game again!

lol no flames pls tongue.gif since this is a PES thread, lets just concentrate discussing about PES info only.

And the core thing about footy game is the gameplay, which i personally think that PES hold it for so many years. Yes its online play is suck, but i still strongly think that PES is means for those who really wanna taste real football, whereas if you're looking at franchise/ licensing kits/ better graphic just go ahead for FIFA. icon_rolleyes.gif (i have also try Fifa demo before which i didn't like the players movement, it's weired)

Lets hope this time Konami can fix those online lag, then we can really enjoy playing with multinational players thumbup.gif

I wonder if you buy Europe ver. (PES2009) when you play online with angmo/ foreigner will it be lag badly? Coz the server is located from Europe there...

To be safe i will rather wait Asia ver. (WE2009) as it means for Asian players which may reduce the lag issue right?

Not really. Eventhough Konami obtained UEFA Champs League license, it just mean the usage of UEFA logo, theme, ball and etc. but they cant interfere with the official kit from EPL as it is separate licensing..And since EA Fifa series has get EPL licensing until 2010, don't think can get all EPL in-game official kit for at least until that year sad.gif

Btw PES2009 got MAN UTD and LIVERPOOL being the official kit coz Konami purposely pay for the two teams to get it...unless Konami pay the remaining 18 EPL teams for the licensing, otherwise i cant see there will be an all EPL official kits in PES series until 2010...
