QUOTE(PaiGeWonG @ Jul 21 2008, 08:29 PM) hi guys i'm not pro.. but I can help you abit..need some advise from the pros Currently im using a CRT zzz with my built in Graphic card And i would like to change to SAMSUNG 226BW 22inch LCD widescreen Question is .. isit compatible ? with resolution or any etc ? Here is my graphic card built in pic yes it will compatible.. if your vga don't support the native resolution of the 22" which is 1680x1050.. the monitor will still help you scale upon the resolution you set in the windows.. hope that is clear for you.. : D |

Most of the 20" ones actually has the same native resolution as 22" ones, that is 1680x1050. And i would like to change to SAMSUNG 226BW 22inch LCD widescreen Question is .. isit compatible ? with resolution or any etc ? And yeah at 640x480 the screen will stretch (unless you set your games to widescreen resolutions)... QUOTE(AriesChai @ Jul 21 2008, 08:31 AM) Wow. It is too complicated and advanced for me. I'm still contemplating whether to buy this old model of 24" Acer AL2423W or not. It's really NOT a popular LCD. But I just hate viewing angle of a TN panel. Thanks anyway. |

Hello fellow gamers. some of you might be seraching the right LCD for your game. Well i think i found 1 for u the LG2252TQ a 22" LCD with 10,000:1 contrast (also availabe in 19")
The most interesting part is not the 10,000:1 contrast ratio, but it function to view 4:3 without distort image (eg:NFS:Carbon does not support widescreen resolution so u will see a kancil look like a limo in that game) but this monitor u can set to 4:3 or 16:10 ratio (the 2 side of the screen will go blank but will NOT distort your image) Those lowyat shop didn't knew got such technology when i go there buy that day.....swt... |

Depending on application, it can really screw up the image. As for the 1:1 scaling for 4:3 on 16:10, please note that you can set this from your NVIDIA Control Panel, can use on ANY widescreen... Requires DVI connection though.. This post has been edited by lex: Jul 22 2008, 05:39 PM |
