I created a thread asking for the same info too AMDAthlon,
Its between Samsung T190, Samsung 2253LW and LG2242T.
Most people suggest Samsung 2253LW so I went and bought it a few hours ago by phone call to Thundermatch.

Got it RM685 + RM25 shipping.

Hi,

Today went around to check for Benq G2400W. The shop said got two version. One is normal one, another one with HD.

I remember one forumer mentioned this model was selling at RM 980.

May i clarify if there is only one version or two version?
RM 980 is for which version then?

Added on October 23, 2008, 12:31 amBy the way,

which lcd monitor would you recommend for xbox360?

which is better for gaming and movies? Benq G2400w or samsung 2253BW or Dell S2409W?? any other choices?

If 22", you've stuck with one choice.

24", it's about RM50 difference and the s2409w you get more real estate.

Anyways, the Samsung T220, is it glossy or matte screen? With the prices of 22" monitors dropping so much lately and 21.6" cropping up, it's really hard to make a choice for the 22" segment isn't it?

Funnily, the prices vary from shop to shop, these 22", as much as Rm100.

The T220 as a matte screen made it harder for me. Previously I was considering the 2232bw vs 226bw vs Dell e228.
I can't swallow the fact that I'm picking the T220 for it's bezel even though that's the only thing, IMHO good about it, and the price is way higher.

i hate glossy screen, glare n reflect light..

For me, most important is the peformance.. bcoz previously i hate LCD because of the low backlight n not sharp like CRT..

I wonder why you said S2409 over benq's G2400W
i am thinking to grab S2409 lately, but benq's new M2400 kinda tempting too

Well, if you are doing console gaming, 1920x1080 is the way to go, since you can eliminate the black bars on top and bottom. Honestly, that's all that I can think of. The G2400W is indeed tempting as well, but I haven't done much research into 24" as much as I did with 22's

May I know how is the dead pixel warranty from HP for W2228h?

I bought the LCD a month ago, and two dead pixel pop out already.

Haha dun worry, normally Dell will always extend his promotion day. Just either is more discount or less discount only, but it won't be a big different. smile.gif

Play games on 24" with HD4850 at native resolution is a tough job espescially for newer games... 22" already laggy.

^not all games.crysis absolutely will lag like hell. i rather buy 19" lcd for pc gaming. still consider buying 24" full hd for console gaming, plus the price range for 24" not so expensive..
