Dell usually sold online, so try and check to see if the said model is still available... There are also some shops that sell Dell monitors. As for recommended 19" or 20" monitors, that will also depend on your budget.... icon_rolleyes.gif

Errrmmm.... 720p is a video format... not related to monitor pixels. doh.gif

Not really, Viewsonic prices are also on par nowadays.. There are some even cheaper ones... Chimei and AOC comes to mind... There are also those obscure China and Singapore ones... example is DMC brows.gif

well wat i dun understand is ...why samsung 943nwx has only Analog input? the price is rm629 while , the less popular LG has Analog and Digital input and is price at rm619 ....both of this LCD is same sized at 19" , same specs (samsung no DVI) ...and LG is cheaper....though samsung comes with glossy black finish which is attractive...but then the missing of DVI input is a major downside....so ?? why is samsung so dumb?? i guess many LCD buyers will choose LG since it has the upperhand....any comments bout tis?

Samsung as a perceived premium brand name is of course more expensive than others. Thus removing the DVI is part of cost cutting to reduce its price and compete with other brands. And yeah, IMHO its a dumb move.. whistling.gif

The "upperhand" depends on how educated the would-be buyer is.... hmm.gif

Ermm... widescreen 19" is a bit smaller than normal 19"... Depends on your preference.. if watching lots of movies, then widescreen is good. wink.gif

Probably be getting a new monitor ... so need some input ..

I've tried Viewsonic, Samsung and LG monitor with dynamic contrast ...

I'm kind of interested with Dell Ultra Sharp series. ...

So my concern is what's difference between Dell ultra series compare to those dynamic contrast monitor from LG and Samsung ... in term of image quality ...

greatly appreciate helpful input ..
