Wei, seeking help and opinions from all hainanese bro and sis here.
My dad is Hainanese and middle name 昌. Me and brother are middle name 世. But after my grandma pass away we dunno what is the next middle name in the family tree. Any idea how to go about finding it? My dad went to government school and dunno all these things. Only other clue he can give is that his parents come from bunsio or boonsio village. |

Check with your older generation relatives whether they have the family genealogy book (家谱) with them. If not maybe can go Thean Hou Temple (I'm just guessing) and see whether they have any records since your grandparents are from the village you just mentioned.My dad is Hainanese and middle name 昌.
