As far as I know, PhysX Driver 8.06.12 is the latest version. You can't download it from NVIDIA website.
Yes. Install a driver that supports CUDA and also the PhysX Driver.

What's your graphic card? You can install the new driver provided you modify the driver inf.

For more information, check the GeForce 177.35 thread in the Latest Update [Software section]. I've written a guide on how to modify the driver inf.

175.16 should work since it supports CUDA. No harm installing the Physx driver. Just try it.

There is a workaround to get the engine running on 9600gt, modify some inf files, but you take the risk, or wait a couple of weeks.

Modifying the inf file does not work. The NVIDIA GeForce drivers already support but the PhysX driver does not support 9600GT yet.

Yes, it won't have PhysX support. There's not much software utilizing GeForce PhysX yet. Only 3DMarkVantage and UT3 PhysX maps are supported as of now.

I'm not really sure as I don't have a G92 or GT200 GPU now. So, I can't tell if it works or not.

Why don't you install NVIDIA GeForce 177.35? It increases performance in a lot of games.

How to install driver not officially supported by NVIDIA GeForce driver

1) Extract the driver EXE file to a folder.
2) Replace the nv4_disp.inf (for XP) or nv_disp.inf (for Vista) file in the folder with the file corresponding to your Operating System:-
Modded INF
3) Run the setup.exe in the folder.
