the problem now is...can the card does 2 jobs simultaneously?
will there be performance hit if we use the card to render physics (with resource hogging graphics)?

there's no fully supported games as of now.

AFAIK, currently only 3DMark Vantage and UT3 supports this PhysX module. Not really sure if GRAW supports this too. Anyone willing to try?

Hohoho, this is where multi-GPU comes in. flex.gif

It'd be better if NVIDIA provides support for SLI-ing 2 different graphic cards.

Currently the PhysX Driver 8.06 only supports these GPUs:-
# 8800GTS (G92)
# 8800GT (G92)
# 9800GTX (G92)
# GTX 260 (GT200)
# GTX 280 (GT200)
# All GPUs based on G92 chips

Future support will be added for other cards that is CUDA-capable.

The NVIDIA GeForce 177.35 and newer already supports CUDA for other GPUs. It's just that the PhysX driver does not support those GPUs.

Yes, PhysX supports 8800GT. You can give it a try.

Currently, it only works for 3DMark Vantage and UT3 PhysX maps. Other games such as CellFactor still requires AGEIA PPU to enable physics. This will likely be supported in the future.

You must download the PhysX driver version 8.06.12. Older version won't be able to detect NVIDIA GPUs.

As far as I know, PhysX Driver 8.06.12 is the latest version. You can't download it from NVIDIA website.
