I always cheat 1, from traffic light... try to count the traffic light and know your turn... then slowly release your clutch fully... the car will move a little... once green just floor it!!! very nice~~ haha...
This car 5th gear very nice... in normal traffic I always use 5th gear oni... if hardcore races... thn oni will play with gear... always upshift at 5k rpm... dun dare to reach redline... scared blow engine Myvi OD button is so that the gear change won't exceed 3rd gear... if u're driving manual... try to redline ur gears.. thn u can win myvi d... But I still think myvi feels lighter... my bro has a myvi... and he always use 2nd on standstill... really enuff torque~ |

Cornering, cars will understeer or oversteer... It's really hard to overturn a car... and savvy has a small head with wide body... I think he hit something before overturning the car thou~

Yeah and i think it's easier to overturn a myvi, viva, kenari than savvy and kelisa... I mean, among these small hatches... but the most important thing is, do not do a high speed cornering when u're not familiar with the road and the traction level is very low (sloppy areas and raining)

Yeah... cause you're aggressive enough to step on the accelerator while cornering, pressing the rear to the road... so, it's kinda of hard to oversteer... but too much acceleration will cause front to lose grip causing understeer... so, better be careful not to overspeed which cause u to lift off too much or brake, and u will cause the car's weight to bounce to the front, causing overtseer...
Anyway, it's always good to take nice lines and maintain the balance of the car through corners D4ft sounds good! But isn't there any 'bolt on turbo' kinda things for savvy? Not much performance mod can be done on Savvy, is it true? |

QUOTE(Xelia @ May 27 2009, 07:29 PM) Nice Blue dude indeed Savvy is really stable on the road at high speed... I did 150kmh and nothing vibrate.. it just feels like 120kmh except the engine sound and wind sound... Anyway I'm really interested on how it goes on mountain roads... with a good chasis, this should be fun! anyway..from the research , savvy can be extremely stable on the road. waiting 4 the full result. |

Before service, at the counter, he actually told me this is semi synthetic, after service i got the receipt it's written there mach 5... and now i checked that mach 5 is actually mineral oil... I think that guy don't even know that mach 5 is mineral oil... Luckily now my car's mileage is 5900++ ... gonna book a service soon! Engine is so noisy now... Found this, 5. QUOTE(Xelia @ May 28 2009, 09:42 PM) yup! but ori savvy is still lack of potential, and thats what our research about. Yeah!... I actually saw a blogger bringing Savvy to various mountain roads in Malaysia... Really wanna do wat she does~Lack of potential, u mean handling or power? What I think is, too much body roll, and not enough power... Which means UR bars, and open pod air filter + straight flow exhaust = MONEY |

QUOTE(RedSox2004 @ May 29 2009, 08:51 AM) The price difference of Syntium 800 and Mach 5 is almost rm40. Is it recommended to use Syntium 800 for savvy and change every 5000km instead of the recommended 10k? I think if u're using mach 5, better service every 5k... using syntium 800 then can service every 10k |
