I always wondered about Kurylenko's character (Camille) from the poster why she looked as if she just fell into a dumpster.

She will be back in Bond 23... yes !!

Anyway, isn't this bond suppose to be about the past? As in the first few missions about how Bond become how he is in the previous movies. CS and QoS is much more physical cause it's before bond has had all his gadgets and stuff to help him.

This is the post I'm looking forward to. Yes, it's supposed to be the first mission ( Casino Royale ) for Bond to be 007.

So, I think the gadgets, personality and presentation of the Bond character himself is on development. These are all excusable base on that fact. Hey at least there is the Car, the Phone, and the Girl.

Maybe in Bond23 may wrap it all up thus producing the true matured Bond.

IMHO, they trackback the Bond timeline same as Star Wars Saga trackback to episode 1 because of depletion of the attraction factor in the movie itself.

Its becoming of a ALIAS type of espionage (between organizations) from (weapons of mass destruction) type of movie. whistling.gif

Lol, I'm sure Bond23 will be the end of this physical bond.

Well, he doesn't have gadgets cause they dont have Q yet. That's the old mans name right? Q, the guy that supplies the gadgets.

For those who think Bond is incomplete with gadgets, you have to keep in mind that Casino Royale is considered a reboot of the Bond movie franchise, much like Batman Begins represented a new beginning for Batman movies. With this reboot, the producers wanted movies that are a little bit more grounded in reality. Fantastic gadgets will be kept to a minimum and when Bond fights, he gets cuts and bruises.

Until the producers consider another reboot, it is safe to assume that we won't see anything like the invisible car (Die Another Day) ever again.

one way to look at the last 2 james bond movie is to understand why it is different from the rest of the james bond series:

i. it is a reboot. a reinvention and revitalization of the james bond character and its universe.

ii. QoS is the first ever sequel to another james bond movie (CR). i think i read somewhere it's supposed to be a trilogy or something (unconfirmed), but what i do know is that, QoS have already started preproduction even before CR finished filming. so it was supposed to be a tie-in.

Truly Agreed! Bcos when I watch Casino Royale tat time...I realized there is no Q (weapons and gadgets inventer) yet.

now a days there are some movies seems like a "remake/restart" from old school movies in order to make it "new packaging" to attract youngsters/ new generation ppl.

some movies/series for example like:

Batman Begins
Kamen Rider First
Star Wars (revert back from those old school series)
