but some website showing min fps for this game using 4870x2 is 60+

try to turn off the "Wait for vertical refresh" in Catalyst.

what PSU u are using? 12v how many AMP?

depends on wat resolution.
4870x2 only really shines wen u got 24" o above screen.

if u wan the best out of ATI card in assassin's creed, dun patch it.
the original assassin's creed support dx10.1.
the patch remove dis coz nvidia r not happy.

i think is the bios problem got nothing to do with the power.
it can power up juz cant load to bios.

DFI already reported they got few model mainboard have BIOS compatible problem with 4870x2 like Abit, but if not mistake they already released the new BIOS and solved the problem.

for Abit i think will never release the BIOS to fix the problem.

gigabyte got release new bios but still no fix my bios problem

what is the different with non-reference cards and reference cards ?

x2 got no non reference card atm.

reference cards refer to AMD ATI reference sample
non reference cards refer to those come with high ram,custom cooler, funky looking, different pcb colour/design.
