Sapphire 4870x2 user reporting in...

I have one question regarding of the fan speed, I already edit the xml profile to 50%, but in GPUZ it show 40% all the time, is it trustable?

If not, how may I know that the fan is running at 50%?

I set 45% and the fan speed show 29xxRPM in gpuz, the temperature is ok but the fan is a bit loud, 46-47C idle, the other core 42-43C idle

U just set either one only, by percentage or rpm... I think u can't use both, but 50% for 38xx rpm is a lot, mine if use 50% around 32xx only, what card u used?

What is ur spec....

Buy CM690 sis, roomy enough for HD4870x2

Run naked is the best choice if u want hd4870x2, but the hardware is not secure, or better u get HD4870 + aluminium casing? Plus u must consider to get a new power supply too (if urs less than 650W)

Not secure becoz its too sexy, later byk tangan2 gatal nak usik2...

What your preset, performance? The preset is important if u want to compare on vantage score

It is posible to get 30k gpu score in entry preset, even with dual GTX280 can't reach 30k gpu score in performance preset

Refer to my previous post #540, I got 35k gpu score in preset entry with hd4870x2

What games have u tried, how the frames rate? Till now i dont have time to play any game yet

Your power supply should be enough for single 4870, but for x2, might have a problem since it require 650w

Thaisxs, how much rpm the fan running for 60% speed, your temp. looks high, my temp is around 7x only @ full load and 45% fan speed (29xxRPM in GPUZ)

Ur cpu score quite low, may be it bottle neck, what cpu u used?

Yeap, u run on standard or overclock proc? Try overclock a bit and see the difference

Who is DAMMIT, and 8 way CF , u mean 4 x 4870x2 card?

IC, didn't now about that, i thought 4870x2 can't do 4 way crossfire, cause it have 1 slot CF connector only, where u read about this?

U're wrong, 4 way crossfire = 4x Graphic Card = 8 GPU, currently only amd790FX and intel x48 that support 4 slots but no driver support 4 way CF at the moment
