Dude you should upgrade to the newer builds, v24-sp1 has so many issues its not even funny

OMG, i didn know there's new builds. which one is the latest? i check their website, v24 sp1 is the latest....

can u pls give me link to the latest one, as i could not identify which one is their latest build.

Added on August 13, 2009, 1:19 ami found newer builds... kinda hard to get to it. dd-wrt should organize their download page for easy access.

upgrade to latest dd-wrt.v24-12548_NEWD_mini.bin

i hope this one is stable... coz i wanna do wireless repeating using my wrt54gl n wap54g.

Added on August 13, 2009, 4:24 amHie. i have a tiny problem with wireless repeater. i manage to set my wrt54gl as primary, and wap54g as secondary unit to run the repeater successfully.

i did not use any sort of encryption except MAC add filtering... and i have set both unit with the exact MAC add list to filter. unfortunately, i still have someone not in the list accessing the router. any possible explanation why can he still connect bypassing MAC filtering?

hi all .. i have a dlink dir-300, flashed to v24 sp2 build 12533 (latest), but having this problem as in ... the load average, i dunno if its a bug, but all loads starts with 1 which means 1.xx, 1.xx, 1.xx and not 0.xx, 0.xx, 0.xx ...
means my router working @ more than 100% all the time o.O? anyone having the same problem as me?

there is so much (NEWD,VINT,EKO) builds out there, n im having trouble to determine which one to use.

Currently, the latest build eko 12548 micro on my wap54g is the secondary router used as repeater. but mac filtering is not working at all.

so need suggestions. tq

For those who are using WRT54G2, just a small tips to share based on my testing.

when u ping using large bytes, such as 1450, and there are a large number of timed out or lost.

try to check ur Wireless -> Advanced Setting

Basic Rate = All
Transmission Fixed Rate = Auto

at first i set the transmission fixed auto at 54Mbps, hoping it could transmit at constant speed, but it doesnt, so i guess its bugs or the router itself cannot support a constant fixed transmission rate

now i dun hav problem ping-ing the gateway with a large size of ping, few CMD at the same time ^^

additional info : i am doing repeater bridge mode using 3 same model of router

Everything is paid version each AP will have a unique key paste that key and it will activated can be reactivated if flash to different version upgrade because the unique key is based on the board generated, this is what i do for all my customers who wish to have dd-wrt on Senao products.

bro... as far as i understood, wrt54gl model can only take mini and micro versions due to low memory... rite? standard can use ah?

i just successfully set up NoCatSplash, redirecting it to my blog. But one problem im facing is tht it doesn't goes directly to my blog, instead to my homepage(google). Then i can access other websites too for several seconds(+/- 15s) before it loads my blog.

Any idea y this happens? or is this normal?

i`ve just got myDD-WRT v24-sp1 mega for dir-300 model , currrently i`m using Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/26/08) std

i tried to upgrade firmware using the .bin file provided but after the upload and restart , nothing changed . is there something i missed out ?
