i think if u are normal user, and does not play with all the function or need more function, then stick with original firmware lo

Hi, morning everyone, anyone know the differences between dd-wrt.v24-12548_NEWD-2_micro.bin and dd-wrt.v24-12548_NEWD_micro.bin ? currently i am using NEWD_micro for my wrt54g2

For those who are using WRT54G2, just a small tips to share based on my testing.
when u ping using large bytes, such as 1450, and there are a large number of timed out or lost. try to check ur Wireless -> Advanced Setting Basic Rate = All Transmission Fixed Rate = Auto at first i set the transmission fixed auto at 54Mbps, hoping it could transmit at constant speed, but it doesnt, so i guess its bugs or the router itself cannot support a constant fixed transmission rate now i dun hav problem ping-ing the gateway with a large size of ping, few CMD at the same time ^^ additional info : i am doing repeater bridge mode using 3 same model of router This post has been edited by ciohbu: Aug 25 2009, 10:13 AM |
