Dear All, can I know what is bridge mode? Cause currently I'm using a wireless router with another modem. Is it better to use bridge mode. Thanks
*
Bridge mode go google lah bro :-) itu noobs questions tuh, letih nak jwp kalau tak tau gaks masuk wikipedia hehehe

Will test EOC-2610 with DD-WRT soon and will waste money to purchased the activation of DD-WRT for that hardware. Anybody who intrested to buy EOC-2610 Senao can PM me price wise quite high because have to pay extra for the WiFi activation, got 2 years from warranty from our local distro here.

Today i replace 2 LinksysGL to cover my main AP are currently being RMA the radio chipset went headwired. Still waiting for my EOC-2610 hehehe looks like AzmiHamzah will play with it first tongue.gif

Hi everyone i manage to get the EOC-2610 working with DD-WRT it required activation purchased in order to make it work . It's a very powerfull AP with 600mW transmit power if you need this AP you can buy from me. I will give 2 years warranty. It's good for outdoor deployment and to extend your AP. For Point to Point you can reach up to 30km with line of sight

600mW blink.gif thats so illegal and far exceeds Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia (MCMC) maximum e.i.r.p limits
of just 27dBm, you must be out of your mind to propose such an illegal boxes to lowyat forumers,

anyway that Senao EOC-2610 box has not been type approved by SIRIM to be imported into Malaysia,
unless if of course you have been illegally smuggling the boxes in blush.gif

Nothing personal! Sometime this SIRIM is a bit lebih one. I don't see anything wrong with Senao EOC-2610 if this thing can be sell openly in Europe or US. SIRIM is just following standards applying in advance country, and at most time our standards are so far behind or not even up todate.

thats true SIRIM follows European ETSI and USA FCC regulations where its only approved for low power operations at
22dBm for 54Mbps and 22dBm for 54Mbps, with a built in 10dbi antenna the actual approved transmit power
should be:-

Watt = (Max Allowed dBm) - (antenna gain)
so the maximum allowed dBm for Malaysia is 27dBm - Senao antenna gain of 10dbi

27dBm - 10dbi = 17dBm
17dBm = 50mW Max!!!
