so happy that i had succesfully flash my wrt54g v5 with micro dd-wrt version...

at 1st got problem TFTP the firmware up.. then found a guide... hehehe

""Once you have the IP addressing assigned, start the TFTP CLIENT, give it the address of the WRT54G fill in the default password ("admin") point it to the flash image and choose binary mode if given the option. The goal is to get it already to make the connection with the push of a button.

Next is to do a hard reset on the linksys. Hold down the reset button on the back for 30 seconds. While still holding it down, unplug the unit from another 30 seconds. Plug it back in. Immediately release the reset button and start the TFTP upload.

It should show progress pretty quickly. If it fails, try starting it again. If that fails, try the reset cycle again and try adjusting your timing ( both shorter and longer) between restoring the power and starting the upload.

Once you have a successful upload, the box should reboot. Try accessing the web interface. It may take a while (30+ seconds) the first time. If it doesn't work. Try power cycling or resetting the box.""

it really works!!! wahahahah

now set is as repeater and works like charm

1 of my customer experiencing blinking problems power blinking and all lan power up . First case happening since using dd-wrt. Manage to swap one to one, flash again and works charmly until now

another one

Power blinking, but still can access internet, both in the past 4 weeks, still rectifying the problems with the customer, if problem persist will RMA, because item still in warranty period.

Suspecting firmware debricking or overboost transmit power advice turning off the router let it ress maybe same case like Buffalo

i just flash dd-wrt v24 sp1 special on my buffalo .
some question for the QoS setting.
i confuse about the QoS setting and default bandwidth level.

i should fill in 512 up 1024 down or 48kB up 180 down something like this?

another question is , after i switch on the QoS, and set the http services to express.
after the setting, the response become slow, even though i enter the console menu also take a half minutes , what is the problems?
so now i turn the QoS off again, then everything go back to normal .
no more slow response.

==============

latest update, before the reset , there were no problem for entering the console, but still slow connection to the website.(even lowyat.net)

but after everything turn into default dd-wrt setting.(off course with the pppoe setting)
i didn't make any change, no wds no qos, super speed now.

can some one tell me what happen?
