errrr... I do switch it but I didn't sync it. I only sync it when it's in "office" mode. Do you reckon that it causes the "crashed"?

when my e71 autolock i got this big lock image at the screen.. it doesn't before. it happend after i reboot my phone then it comes out. i don't know what else to set to make it dissapear unless i disable autolock which i need it. is there anybody got same problem with me? i don't have any 3rd party app installed. Help plsss...

There are 2 types of autolock
- Keypad autolock
- autolock

You are using the 2nd one which requires you enter security code each time you access your phone.

Go to setting > general > security > phone & sim > & set keypad autolock period to whatever time you want & set autolock period to none

yup correct..i'm using the autolock..i want it lock with a security code. before this, when i set the autolock with security code, the big lock image doesn't appear..i don't know where it come from. when the lock image appear, it doesn't show anymore all my calendar reminder (eg. 3 days before appointment).

im using white e71, the only bad thing about the white version is the usb + memory card rubber.. it'll turn black or yellowish soon :/.. but other than that when u look at the white version in diff angle, it looks like the whole phone its in white color. HEHE thats how i got attracted with the fone.. also i bought a pouch fit really nicely for e71 at novatel or however u spell that.. ill post it up soon its exactly like wat jameslee posted. Anyhow they do sell the original white and black Eseries e71 pouch as well.

RM168? what brand is it? does it look like the PDair type? I went to check out and the shop in Gurney plaza only have Capdase brand. It's totally old school and ugly. Make me into an "uncle" holding my proud E71. And the price somemore RM98. Still waiting for the PDair seller from HK to reply to me. High chance that I can obtain a price lower than RM100 for it.

Agreed. That's why I take extra caution when handling my White Steel E71.

I think the rubberized parts can be changed at Nokia Care Centres though, for a fee of course! Will ask when I can drop by.

guys, i am intrested in getting a e71 and i am currently using n95 8gb... i wanted to know if the phone delay when open files or its like the n95... cuz i am very happy wif the n95, no lag or hangs... i know the screen is smaller compair to the n95 but i like the solid metal feel, battery life and qwerty keypad...
