Hi new E71, reporting in. Ori-set.
Having problems using Nokia codes eg. *#0000# to view firmware and other codes as well.

Anyone having similar problems?

leather case is the best protection in my opinion but buying alone is expensive thats y i'm wondering if anyone wants to bulk buy with me, then maybe can get it cheaper.

the leather case comes with it(FOC) is good enough. but i prefer it to be naked most of the time. hehehehe...

Personally I think the phone is tough enough not to use such pouch. Get a screen protector. This phone must be show off without hiding inside your pouch or pocket

i can't agree more with you that its tough but still it will get scratched if we are careless isn't it? I am actually using the original leather pouch to protect it but i think its quite an inconvenient pouch. especially when pulling it out.

i just love the original pouch....just sleeve in...

What brand?

I think its brandless la. but even this plus shipping to malaysia cost about 70-80. I'm trying to negotiate to get it for a price of RM50-60 la.

There's another one branded one called Carrymobile, now this is branded but I was quoted RM135 plus shipping each for this one, check out the link below, this certainly looks much nicer than the brandless one but the price sigh.... but if a lot of people interested in the Carrymobile pouch, I would nego for a lower price as well since I myself prefer the branded one.

I saw a pouch like this but didn't have a closer look lah in holiday plaza jb while getting a screen protector for my e71. Price was RM 45 only.

Looks nice! But for US$ 28, one could also opt for PDAir, which is pretty good as I've on several occasions used their pouches before.

hi does anyone use fring here?

i have a little problem. i got it working fine a few days ago but today when i go to:

select access point>search for wlan> and then i selected the wlan i want to connect to, it show the fring is loading... screen and then:

"could not establish connection to the fring network. Would you like to start automatic search?"

apparently it doest detect the wifi connection but i can use the wifi with opera mini and other applications.

i've reinstalled fring and its still the same.

any help?

I bought mine from e_trade_pj. Great seller. I just called him and he gave me a price. And I went to his shop. He gave instructions to his staff even though he was not there. He even put a reserved sticker with my name and the price of it on the box. His kiosk is located at Giant Kelana Jaya (inside Giant).
