ANyway Kiara is closed temporary due some damaged have been done by some mat saleh kids...pls check other skatepark..there's tons more out there or you can always street skating, sidewalk surfing, etc

i wanted to skate at kiara because it's sort of tertutup and other parks are open space that means a lot of people can SEE me. i'm just a beginner and i dont want anybody to see me skate. they'll laugh at me for sure. dah penah kena dah like 4-5 years ago. and i sure dont want it to happen again. =( bodo punya orang keja 7 eleven. im sure it's because im a girl. and now i just want to start skating again and never give up! *poyo je. Haha =P

hi everyone...currently im kinda addict v skateboarding....but i havent try b4...now im 19...do u all think im kinda late to learn? and any useful guide would help a amateur starter able to learn how to skateboarding? thx...

19? no problem... to learn skateboarding, u cant be alone.. u need to mix with a group of skateboarders... only then u'll be good

but my fren all are nerd...i mean in my university...and my outside fren all are bboy....no one like skateboarding in my bunch of fren....since i quit bboy...n i indulge myself in streething to replace the street culture...den i saw a nike sb eric koston video...damn..he's good at it...den i cant stop looking his video...den...i addicted...xD

urgh... like I said, skateboarding is not something that you do alone. If u got no friends who are into skateboarding, u gotta go out & find some. Its the same like bboying... u cant do it alone... u gotta be among the hip crews like those in Bukit Bintang. U need to go out to skateparks & mix around dude...

but im stucking in my campus all the time...and they have no interest with it...hard to find a bunch of sb peeps in my university...=.='

unlike football or badminton, skateboarding is a lonewolf sport. learn on your own and nail few tricks consistently. then only go to a skatepark so you wouldnt feel inadequate.

U're wrong dude... u execute skateboarding tricks by yourself but with most skateboarders, we all skate in groups. U dont need to learn tricks first on your own..
what u need to do is to get out & start mixing with skaters... that is how u can learn faster. One more thing is, skateboarding is not a sport... at least to us old
school grass root skateboarders.... it was brought to the mainstream by ESPN & they brand it extreme sport..... something which I totally dislike.... skateboarding
should never be brought into the main stream... if u're a true to the heart skateboader, skateboarding is a way of life & not a mainstream, glamour & attention
seeking activity... but then again we do really get a lot of attention back in the days... especially by police, security guards & chicks

man i agree. by skating alone you'll be so bored, no 1 to support. the first two or three tricks is hard enough. further more you cant see how to do it clearly. watching in youtube is not enough,

anyone feel free to come at kmpg batu skatepark every weekend..i'll be there every weekend from thursday-sunday if i'm back to kepong..i'll be anyone buddy, no worries

n i certainly agreed with skating in groupie..better than alone coz u will feel bored..my little advise is come to skatepark as often as u can and i'm damn sure u can make frenz there..same goes with me..last few months i skate alone at kmpg batu now i've make around 10 frens there..n i skate with them till now..

man my situation is same like kido..

n i juz finished my spm
