I'm thinking of picking up skateboard for "serious" leisure, so I was wondering if you guys could advice me on the board setup that I should get - since I'm pretty heavy (80+ kg). Even better, you can list the actual brand + models.

Guys, I forgot to add 1 more Q's: Skate shoes are pretty expensive, so do you guys have like..."alternative" shoes that you would buy to replace your current skate shoes and recommand to people?

Example: kalau aku tak mampu beli kasut skate aku skarang ni, konpirm aku beli kasut [masukkan nama kasut].

Yeah, there's definitely couple of skate parks at Aus. I believe they better equipped than us here.

I agree with ejat also, uni's life is not that free after all. You may have some time to skate, but at times, studies take over those unless hati kering or over genius.

Kolej Mara Seremban not a bad place either, as it's actually at the town itself. I've heard that there's skate spots around town. It ain't skate park but you got to use whatever available. Of course Shah Alam is awesome with 1 large park and bunch of spots around, but oversea man...very hard to get opportunity like that.

Earlier today went to RSH's warehouse sale. The shoes are at least 50%, so who can fit into US 5 - US 7 might want to consider borong some Vans there - got tons of slips-on and couple of Bucky Lasek, Rowley and some team design, if i'm not mistaken la.

Triple Crown has been around for a while I think...tapi brapa kerat sgtlah barang skate. The RSH sale was held at their warehouse in Sunway few weeks ago, got myself a Vans fer cheap.

Taking about cheap, last week went to Zone 5, I think I saw couple of Lakai and Nike SB fer cheap...if I'm not mistaken la.
