If you don't want to a "guinea pig", there's always the option wait until the official launch and more people are owning this phone and read up on the reviews about it before finally deciding, no rush smile.gif

For some people (Like my fiance), his current phone is frustrating him so he wants to get a new one... and that's why he's getting the C905 tongue.gif

Yeah I agree! If you are not in a hurry then wait for the official release and instead of being a guinea pig wait for other guinea pigs to test and review first biggrin.gif

i mean, if the C905 is fine so far (AP units), then i dun see the problem in changing phones right now as i feel like flinging my K850i against the wall. but if there are serious problems with the C905 (just like when they launched the K850i, then i would seriously give this phone a miss. would just like some feedback from the ppl who bought AP units of this phone.

any problems like phone crashing/hanging, faulty mobo, crappy photos, etc.? (yes, that all happened to my current phone since day 1)

Renee said the Telstra service center only in KL. Most probably Lowyat Plaza or somewhere near there I guess.

Then it's definitely advisable that you wait for the ORI set.

my current K850i is ORI. bought it just after it launched officially. after 24 hours, the mobo died. that says it all. now as long as the warranty is good, anything will do.

I can't comment on the AP set yet because I haven't got it yet. But the warranty period offered by Renee is longer than the ori set. The service centre is in Low Yat Plaza.

My previous phone is the Nokia N76. Ori set. Within 1 week the motherboard completely died and had to get it replaced. Even after that it still gave me problems until I changed to my current phone =.= I guess it's your "luck", either you get a bad ori or a good AP.

why isnt it out yet sad.gif

The X1 is launching on 22 nov in One Utama and they're offering RM250-RM1500 savings for first 50 customers.

Who knows when C905 launches they hv the same kind of promo (tho probably not as much coz the c905 is cheaper)

lol.. i sold few telstra sets... and the last set i send warranty is N95 with 1month warranty left.. but when i send it in, 3 days later they tell me " oh, your phone masuk water ady" doh.gif

previously is also some nokia phone (cant remember) and was rejected for warranty saying it is damages by the buyer.

if i remember correctly (based on my exp working in phone shop), if there is water mark in the (phone)board (or some moist stain)... the phone masuk air.

but that water stain can do it within 1 day... brows.gif one drop of water kawtim... and all blame back to the customer (i dont mean it is telstra's doing ya. its in general)
