looks like W910i's design to me. looks is just so-so but kinda happy with the specs eg. 8.1MP + Xenon & WiFi. not too bad for a slider.

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Jun 13 2008, 05:10 PM) after this sure other manufacturer will roll out more high end cameraphone in their line up in order to counter SE's move yeah. i think currently this is the first 8.1MP phone launching right? is Nokia launching any similar MP phones? we will benefit as customers of course, but that's is if the price tag didn't kill us. so, as a customers, we will benefit from this... |

think this will be launched end of this year or early Q1 2009. SE don't wanna affect the sales of C902, do they?

QUOTE(jiaxun @ Nov 19 2008, 03:12 PM) i've tried sent in two phones for warranty (both are SE) and Telstra never give any lame excuses like that. the only problem with them is SLOW. took 1 month to replace my K770i's faulty mobo. |

QUOTE(Seaedge @ Nov 29 2008, 11:44 AM) no idea.. hahhaha... not planning to get it soon since it still on the high price for ap. besides, now the price really RM17xx bcoz i went to lowyat yst and check on pricelist. i saw RM16xx but limited stock and RM17xx is GOLD colour, which i am wondering.. is there gold c905? i'm so gonna wait for ori to be out too only i purchase an AP set. it's far too expensive now. those who used to SE, guess its just as good as the others... Added on November 29, 2008, 11:45 ami wud recommend to wait for ori to come out... and then see what AP price is... like W980, during initial release.. Ori was 1999 and AP was around 1599-1699... and now... ori RM1599 and ap.. 1099... hahahhahaha |

QUOTE(limping @ Dec 8 2008, 11:12 PM) there's always a common misunderstanding that AP sets are low quality or factory-rejected ones. AP sets & original sets actually came off the same production line of a factory. the only difference is the different companies which brought 'em into our country eg. AP companines such as Telstra, Asia Mobile vs Authorised Distributors like Thorus & Midland and also the warranty package. there's nothing like "AP sets = low quality".battery life is quite a subjective issue & depends on usage i guess. quite hard to judge now as said by one of the forummer since most reviews didn't mention about bad battery life. launching date is yet to be announced but rumoured to be end of Dec. |

QUOTE(little ice @ Dec 9 2008, 06:32 PM) what if original = RM2199? AP still can sell at RM1800+ and still consider a lot cheaper than original, although last time is less than RM1700. shouldn't be more than RM2K i guess. usually only PDA-alike/Symbian UIQ/WM SE phones are priced above RM2K for original eg. P1i, W960i, X1 when launched. even the flagship K850i is around RM1899 when launched. so my guess is the AP price shall drop to around RM1.4K-1.5K. let's hope & pray. but it's always more safe to get the authorized set than AP anyway. QUOTE(little ice @ Dec 27 2008, 01:50 AM) maybe some editing done on with the photo. and probably there're some good lightings setup for this picture. QUOTE(ian90 @ Dec 27 2008, 02:11 AM) that promotion picture came out quite a long time ago. slightly good lighting & photoshop is still okay for me. yes, it was shot wif a c905. but, it's 100% photoshop-ed... throw in some good lightings and sexy model to distract you.. no wonder the poster looks good. ahha |

QUOTE(aNgse @ Dec 29 2008, 08:23 PM) how does the warranty differ? original sets bought at any shops can still be sent for warranty or service purposes at any authorized SE centres. unlike AP sets which you can only send them to the specific company which you bought from. usually AP companies only have one service centre.if we buy ori set at normal shop we can still send warranty to any SE service centre rite? sorry i dont have much knowledege bout this.. |
