Yeah... the price might drop but not a lot. After all, it is a 8.1mp camera phone with Wi-Fi capabilities, almost like a PDA phone.
Am looking forward to its release and price tag! |

Think about it- if SE C905 come out with RM 2099, then say, 3 weeks later drop to RM 1799 - RM 1599, wouldn't Nokia be out of business really quick?
I really wish I waited for the SE X1 |

Asked around several phone shops (Dr. Mobile, Dynacom, Sonic Power Station), Sony Centres and even Sony Style- most of them have no idea when it's going to be out, one said that it will be out next month, another said sometime end of the year
No AP sets available either? |

It's annoying how there's still no news of when it will be launched in Malaysia

Launched? Where? I'm not out today so I can't check it out... will most probably attack Sony Style/Sony Centre/Sony Ericsson tomorrow

I keep hearing people say the phone is released here- but as far as I know it's not (Unless you mean AP set, then it's possible). I've gave a call to Sony Style and Sony Centre (I wanted to call up Sony Ericsson directly but their office is closed) and the people there still have no idea when is the launch going to be or any other specific details about it.
Stop crushing our hopes and disappointing those who really look forward to this phone! Oh and if it's less than RM 2K and my fiance is satisfied with (Being able to touch it, feel it, test it), he will instantly buy it. Partially because his current K770i is being wonky already |

Agreed. My fiance's current phone has gone crazy as well so the waiting game is hard to play... especially when he's so picky on phones and finally found one he likes
Asked Sony Ericsson at Gardens Mid Valley just now... the person there said that C905 will only come out next year |

QUOTE(lazogirlz @ Nov 7 2008, 03:24 AM) SE camera quality is not good as NOKIA. even 8.1 and i dont think its quality will be great. try k800i and k850i once they had launched. both made me disappointed with its picture quality and video quality and ended up change to n95 and n82. Are you kidding me? I'm sorry, maybe that's your experience. I prefer Nokia phones over SE phones actually (I used to use Nokia phones since my first phone, but now I'm using HTC TyTN II PDA phone) and my fiance is a SE fan (Hence him wanting the C905 so badly), but to be honest SE cameras are way better than Nokia's. My N70 gives quite bad grainy images and so did my N76 after around 3 months, while my fiance's SE K800i and K770i are still working very well. When uploaded photos from these phones onto the computer the SE images give better quality and detail compared to Nokia.Still waiting for the official launch of C905... Yeah Nokia phones are feature packed (Which is why I like Nokia), but the designs lately haven't been attracting me, on the other hand SE phone designs are attracting me

The X1 has a launch date already if I'm not mistaken... how long more does SE Malaysia want to withhold the C905? =.=

Found an AP set at Sonic Power Station in MidValley Megamall. Compared it with Samsung Innov8. SE's a bit more sluggish compared to Samsung, but overall the quality is almost the same TBH, unless you're a real photo-taking enthusiast. Difference in software too, obviously. But my fiance's used to SE's menu and interface.
Design-wise I like Samsung Innov8, it's slimmer (But wider), but doesn't seem to have a protective cover-thing for the lens. SE is thicker, but less wide. The feel is also more solid (Tried the black one- grip's quite rubbery) and the buttons are nicer to press, so SMSing with the SE is nicer. But that's just my opinion. The price for the SE C905 is RM 1950. Might get it from Renee. |

Samsung Innov8:
![]() The price is RM 28xx for the 8GB model, RM 3199 for the 16GB model. My fiance, being a man, has no problems with SMSing with the C905, so I don't think big hands will have much problem pressing the keys The original set is really not out yet for sure- seems like not even SE themselves know when it is coming out (I emailed their website and asked several Sony and SE shops). Might getting the C905 from Renee This post has been edited by Yukaeshi: Nov 17 2008, 08:19 PM |

Yeap, I agree that Renee does offer good price and deal. In fact, her price and deal can be said almost better than the authorised/ori set
The Samsung Innov8 does look way nicer to be honest, but 8GB and 16GB plus using Symbian OS, of course price is way much higher |

I don't know if I should say this, but Renee offered me two "packages":
RM 16xx is 1 year warranty, no LCD warranty, RM 1710 is 2 years warranty with 1 year LCD warranty + screen protector. My fiance is getting the RM 1710 one and we're getting the set from Renee this Wednesday This post has been edited by Yukaeshi: Nov 17 2008, 11:34 PM |
