I found that the camera on the tripod icon only comes out when I off the flash. And I can't find anything on it in the manuals.
*
probably because with the flash the shutter time will be quick enough to not get blurry picture.

Since flash is not used, the shutter speed will have to be reduce to increase the exposure time otherwise you may get under-exposed pictures. In these conditions, camera-shake will be very likely. That is why software stabilization is activated to counter it. This stabilization is represented with the 'camera on tripod' icon.

because they want to make it as easy to use as possible. as far as i see, C905 take great pictures in various situation so iso setting is kinda useless. also most of the time people won't really care to set iso. if auto works very well there's no reason to manually set it.

Yes correct, but more advanced users may demand more. But anyway, it is what it is meant to be - a camera phone that takes great pictures.

advanced users should get a dslr laugh.gif

anyway, it all boils down to what you want exactly? a really good camera (eg: dslr) or a all in one device with a better than average camera?

since both is roughly the same price

Can spell out the whole name in the phonebook. There is also smart search where you can just type out part of the number and it will show you some of the contact with that number in your phonebook.
