Yeah you can get the phone from Renee, she's quite a trusted and reliable seller
I personally also don't see the big hoo-ha about the lack of the front camera. Sure, it's almost like a "must" for all phones to have it, but honestly, how many people actually use video calling and how often? What else would you use it for besides video calling? Even if the C905 has a front camera, it will not be 8.1MP for sure so you can't take self-pictures so it's pretty moot. And for the phone, I think it's quire decently priced (Even for AP sets, since there's no original set yet), so yeah. To each their own I guess. Simply speaking, if you have a lot of negative comments about the phone, might as well look for others BTW the current price for the phone from Renee is around RM 16xx-RM17xx depending on warranty/package. Sonic Power Station in MV MegaMall is selling it for RM 1950. Other places... not sure, but for sure they jack up a few hundred RM from Renee's price. QUOTE(Yukaeshi @ Nov 21 2008, 03:41 PM) Finally my fiance got his C905 from Renee- he got his in silver instead of black, and I must say it's a nice colour. The website doesn't do the phone colour justice. Overall my impression of it was good- the build is solid, so are the buttons and keypad. Applications and menu pretty much the same as previous SE phones but their Media folder looks nice and fresh. Call-wise, when he called me to test it, the voice sounds loud and clear, doesn't seem to be fuzzy with static/background interference. He then tried speaker mode, also loud and clear like when you're normally using it. My fiance was more interested in the camera- all different shot types, flash, video playback and recording, voice recording and playback. He's very satisfied with it- the quality is crisp and clear. Haven't really tried out Wi-Fi and GPS though. QUOTE(lethar @ Nov 22 2008, 09:50 PM) just wanna know, does it have video call? i heard some ppl say that this phone doesnt have camera in front. izzit true? It has video call, but no front camera.QUOTE(xiang88 @ Nov 22 2008, 11:09 PM) 50% i would take it. hahaQUOTE(myboo_1988 @ Nov 24 2008, 12:01 AM) This is the AP phone problem. Go consumer association to complain them. Or if you are rich enough, straight away send them a lawyer letter. |

between a c902 and c905 which is more recommended?
My main concern is basically the phone freezing up, having encountered this problem quite a few times with my previous phones. Does the c905 have such a problem? |

Thanks thanks
Yeah it all depends on luck. Either you get a good AP set or a bad ori set. My previous Nokia N76 was ori set, but it gave me hell a lot of problems- changed the motherboard and still the same. For me if the phone is officially launched and the price for the ori set is the same as an AP set now I won't "sakit hati". Why? Because my fiance's AP set has longer and more comprehensive warranty period than the ori set, which kind of balances out in my opinion |

I really wanted to have this camera because of it's good camera, but I will go for the Xperia instead since you need to pay for the navigation. I rather spend money once on a navigation package like Garmin, then paying for internet each time I use the navigation plus you need to pay for the Wayfinder Navigator software as well. Second let down is the lack of a front side camera.
