QUOTE(emino @ Mar 26 2009, 08:40 PM) Well generally I prefer turtle eggs raw. Duck eggs, salted or century eggs. Usually I don't like eating quail eggs cuz they're too small but if it's peeled, then boiled. Dude....you know why people eat half boiled eggs? Cuz it's easy to swallow big quantities. SO just ...EAT. Do not overcomplicate things. Here's another video. 152KG x2 x 1 front squats. |

QUOTE(braindead_fr3ak @ Mar 26 2009, 09:10 PM) i see...well understood then.... Actually......we do not envy it. And I'm sure bodybuilders can't be bothered with our strength![]() This is Ivan Stoitsov of Bulgaria. I sure don't think he's bothered to look like a bodybuilder. Nah...we can't be bothered. Anyway, that was my top sets. I did two sets of singles at that to accustom my body to that weight. Then I dropped to 140KG x 4 x 2. That's my work sets. Attached image(s) |

QUOTE(King83 @ Mar 27 2009, 09:47 AM) Don't be silly please. Weightlifters want to keep at a weight class. Le Maosheng competes at 62KG'S @ 160CMs. Why would he possibly want with HGH? It's easy for them to already hit their competitive bodyweight without HGH.The effects of HGH: * Increases calcium retention, and strengthens and increases the mineralization of bone * Increases muscle mass through sarcomere hyperplasia * Promotes lipolysis * Increases protein synthesis * Stimulating the growth of all internal organs excluding the brain * Plays a role in fuel homeostasis * Reduces liver uptake of glucose * Promotes gluconeogenesis in the liver[13] * It contributes to the maintenance and function of pancreatic islets * It stimulates the immune system Weightlifters don't need to risk being tested for drugs for these functions of the drugs. QUOTE(King83 @ Mar 27 2009, 10:03 AM) You forgot to mention HGH speeds up injury recovery + joints recovery, which is the most important function. Chinese training methods have FAR FAR more methods to recover than merely HGH. They've also got their own recovery foods. They believe in eating snake, turtles, worms and bugs which the Western would would scream at. They also have a massage therapist for every lifter. For joint recovery they would have acupuncture and they believe sea cucumber helps as well as the cartilage off animals. At first i am a bit skeptical but now that u told me he's famous, i have more reason to believe so 'cos HGH is expensive. HGH isn't even a drug that weightlifters usually take. They would take test that's for sure. His abs are like that because he needs a strong core to hold the weights overhead. When you're holding 180KG'S overhead, you need thick abs. My coach has a thick core, would you say he's taking HGH? |

QUOTE(mofonyx @ Mar 28 2009, 05:15 AM) hoping to get some pizzaboy feedback since you're offline now. I don't get it. Why didn't you just drop to 117.5KG since you got all 5 reps with that weight? You could have just did 117.5KG x 5 x 5 or 3 x 5 with that. Remember when I said, listen to your body? If it doesn't feel like doing 127.5KG today, then fcuk it. Just go to 117 instead. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Though my 1RM is 180KG's, there are also days when I drop all the way down to 150KG to do 5 x 3 also. If you meet days when you're body feels 70%, you just can't push it to 80%. The most common reason people get into injuries really, is because they do not listen to their bodies. I've not met any injuries for a long time already (the most common injury=torn callouses) Maybe I didn't tell you this but the reason this method doesn't really need to be changed often is because you're supposed to listen to your body. There are days when you feel like this low rep shit isn't going to work, change it to a 4x10 set @ a percentage where you can complete it for two or three weeks, to get a lil hypertrophy going on there and to increase your work capacity for a bit. Then go back to sets of 5x1, 5x3, 3x3 or stuff like that because that's the amount that will give you the fastest strength gains. Work towards your goals, but give it a little change for a while, then return to the real thing. It's the same like school. Study, relax, study. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « What do you reckon? Do the 20 reppers for 6-8 weeks if you can. The 2nd one's hopeless. QUOTE(bata @ Mar 28 2009, 05:47 AM) Yeah, and in 4 weeks of training she's squatted 50KG x 5 x 5 @ 17 y/o, 52KG BW. That's not amazing, but it's impressive gains. |
