hey baronic, ur using dutty's rom right? which radio ur using? .05 or .07? I've been using 07 for some time, seems like gps lags alot when travelling.. changed back to .05 yesterday, haven't had any time to test it.. just want ur feedback..

Anyway, i still cant seem to get the Tools > GPS/Track section. I tried clicking everywhere but cant seem to find the Tools part. I have a Setting option but still cant trace the part where i can set my GPS port

Btw, was at LYP yesterday and saw they are selling the same TD back cover that comes together with the Extended Battery. Never asked the price though and not sure whether they are selling the Extended Battery or not.

@menghua, radio .05 here. no complaints, so i didnt bother upgrading the radio as yet. lol, if users are lazy to do a search on FAQ about diamond, and some stuff even manual u can find but they lazy to read, why should we spoon feed them?

@jordanmak, i've no idea why you cant detect in car, but you car is probably tinted, like with VCool. V Cool is so "good" it even reflects the GPS sattelite signals, so cant use GPS effectively if at all.

@akaChester. the extended battery by HTC or some other provider. whatever it is, make sure it isnt by Cameron SIno. Their batteries are not strong enuf for GPS to function. get ori HTC better. havent tried other third party batteries yet.

you're using mapking 2007 right?

when you choose MAP MODE, u'll see the map right? then below the map u have a tool bar right? at the bottom left u can see tools / settings i cant remember. click it, and u'll see the word GPS/Track or similar.

u mean Enlarge Start Menu? i'm not sure how to disable them with registry editor, but Dutty's rom has the option to switch if off under Start > Settings > Systems.

I'm having some issue with the phone NOT going into power saving mode when phone is LOCKED. TD will enter power saving when it is UNLOCKED, but not during LOCKED. I'm using TLRv3. Is this the same case with other ROMs or is it just me?

just tested it. screen goes off in about 1 minute automatically after locking. Dutty 2.3a rom

Well, i didnt see any Extended Battery though but for sure have seen the battery cover at LYP. Need to check out whether they are selling the Extended Battery or not. Hopefully its not going too expensive.

lol, the price is brand related, the HTC one being the most expensive. suggest purchasing from expansys.

i havent tried other brands. Cameron Sino doesnt work well. Mine is original HTC issue. not from sis, from overseas by expansys

No dude. Read my post again. I managed to get rid of the enlarged Start Menu. BUT the other menus contectx menus and program menus (the ones that show you the options when running programs on the bottom) is still large.

Changing popfnt which is supposed to be the parameter for this, has no effect at all.

u mean when u start > programs. u see all the icons, u wanna change the icon description font size??

if i'm still wrong, perhaps a screenshot?
