found this wonderful forum. got my diamond last week. rom 1.37.
i cannot receive call when i am downloading while surfing the net.; both using IE and opera. is it a bug or some setting i need to do? i am on maxis.

by the way, i download nodata. it helps to stop automatic connect to 3g while i wifi surf..

Nobody else have this problem?

SFOD, i am new to this rom update. After update, what program do you have to reinstall..do you need to reinstall stuff like office mobile, Adobe, opera, Internet explorer, Mapking etc... Appreciate your response very much.

Ther is a full set of instruction at the HTC e-club website. Just upgraded to 1.93. Got to agree with Candccom. Must faster than the old 1.37. But my old problem still persisits.

I have a love-hate relationship with 1.93.

Now, when you slide over the TFLO, there is no transition effect anymore. The background amination is no longer there. You lose the 'Flow' effect.

Second, when you slide over using TFLO and back to home, the clock would not flip anymore. Ah..how i miss this feature. It's a great show-off gimmick.

I feel the TFLO has lost some dynamism. It feels static.

I guess you cannot have the cake and eat it.

ha..somehow, i am now able to simultaneously receive call and surf after playing with it for a couple of hrs...strange..anyway, i have to thk you guys, in particular the Baron for encouraging us to update the rom.!

come to think of it, mine seems to be the slightly 'yellowish' one, even i set the backlight to max. But won't the 'inferior' screen more easy on the eyes as the contrast is not so apparent? i bought mine about two weeks ago.

now, i cannot receive calls while surfing(during upload and download) using 3g maxis again..very frustrated...anyone on maxis be kind enough to list their connecting setting here?

Baron, just how thick is the extended battery?...with it as thick as tytn ii?

just curious..why do we assume white is superior than yellow?

are you on 3G connection or EDGE? for EDGE connection, you can not receive call or make call while surfing..

3G all the way..( the 3G icon/ "H" icons appears) when i was uploading and downloading). The exact settings on TYTN II using the same sim card have no such problem...

Yes, i also kena. over rm1500 by Maxis for a week of surfing. I was pretty sure i was connected using the Wifi. When i called up, all they said was it is possibe for the charge to be that high, citing the high uploading and downloading charges. I have since been on the unlimited plan.

There is a freeware called NODATA, toggle to enable and disable data connection. Find it useful.

another thing. You can download the GPRS Monitor from the application disc that comes with diamond. YOu can set up the connection and monitor your data traffic. Really useful.

I accessed some websites thet requires me to login with username and password. Everytime i visited the site again, the username will popped up. How do i delete them?

i note that we can switch to different functions in touchflo by chosing an icon at the bottom tray, say, the home icon, press it without lifting your touch and then slide across. iam not sure this is in the menu but i just discover it.
i am on 1.93 rom..

why everytime i send out sms, the sent sms also appear in the inbox?

Am on original 1.93..suprising, it does not allow me to choose the theme to window default, even after switching off TF3D. ALl other themes, no problem.

ya.. i was one of the people who was overcharged. I could have sweared i was on wifi all the time. But when the bill came, i almost pengsen.

i use No data
When i able the NOdata program, the following appears
Maxis 3G MMS - Enabled
Maxis 3G Wap -enabled
Maxis Internet- enabled
Maxis Wap GRPS-enabled

So i can toggle whatever i choose. If i change Maxis 3G MMS to Disabled, i cannot send any MMS. It will just stuck at the outbox.
