I always like AirAsia counter..try to grab more when is cheap

The price is kind of stable... no down one...

Stable these 2 months. Last year, before the MAS-AA share swap, its price went up to over RM4.00. This year, a bit concerned about oil price

I always looking to buy back... but never low enough for me to buy, a bit regret sold that...

anyone knows what is happening to this counter this week? should i sell what i am having right now?

Yup, AirAsia fell sharply last Monday and Tuesday, although there was a small rebound this morning... I've got 15 lots and most likely will maintain what I have, with additional purchases to make, if the share price drops further!

You want to buy more? I am thinking whether to cut loss.

High oil price is the concern

just read some of the investment article. Airasia may use the hiked oil price to charge more to consumer, thus better revenue...

That was what I thought last year, but higher revenue need not translate into higher profit...

We are already paying fuel surcharge, not to mention seat selection fee, convenience fee etc.. But AA's net profit still went down last quarter

There is some goods news - from Thailand - amid bad press...

Thai AirAsia continued its strong performance in the fourth quarter of this year, when the load factor was as high as 87 per cent.

The load factor increased by 3 percentage points from the same period last year, the low-cost airline said in a statement.

The load factor increased despite the 14 per cent rise in seating capacity.

But the share price continues to drop

Budget airline AirAsia Bhd may soon start handing out dividends to its shareholders on a regular basis.

AirAsia chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said the management will recommend to its board to adopt a yearly dividend policy.

"The shareholders were really talking about dividends and AirAsia has reached a position where we could be a constant dividend payer."
