as u have mentioned about controling my lifestyle, could you please tell me more on that??
i've read a bit about propecia but i heard that it will affect my sex libido...although i haven't done sex before,i still don't wish to that it will affect my sex life in the future...you've tried both of them right??can you tell me about your experience with them....thank you very much...
*
Dear Boxhead,

Yes propecia might cause some sexual effects when it take it because it limits the DHT formation. However not everyone faces it and I don't see any problems with my sex life even I am taking it for almost 3 years now. Most of the complains regarding Propecia comes from your own mental perception that makes you think the med can make u suffer during sex. Anyway, you can always stop the treatment if you think it affects you.

Regarding my lifestyle plans I have written a section on Preventing Hair Loss as well as suitable Hair Loss Treatments in my website pages. Just click on the link in my signature and you can find the answers there.

Cheers

Well it's tiring and I've tried to give up a couple of times..like a lot of other people I don't have the handsome botak look so my only option is to find a right remedy for hair loss.

After using a few hair loss products and changing my diet, my hair has grown back up!! So from almost bald a few years back now my head is full.. smile.gif

No ..the sides effect of lower sexual drive is not illlusion and many people face it....but it will go off as your body will adjust with it.
Actually Merack claim only 2% of people who use propecia get sides....but in a poll in my blog..guess what...50% get a certain extent of sides....
but it will go off onec eur body deal with it

i use Head & Shoulders Anti-Dandruff Shampoo ....
eventhough it wont 100% secure your hair from falling , but it does control hair fall... and it's cheap too

mmm...better to understand the situation early whether ur hair loss is genetically, cause by oil block or unhealthy lifestyle (eating).
I was having this kind of problem that my hair losses was M shape. My problem is that my hair pores was blocked by oil thus become a skin coz not taken care of and dono what caused it that time.

Now I realise that, apart from that, I need to take care of my food intake. Most of our body need proteins and vitamins. We are encouraged to take >40 different types of food daily but we can't do that coz of our environment. Thus, that's where supplement comes into my life. smile.gif to help my problem and increase my immune system as well.

If u r using gel or spray, have a better check around whether it will damage the hair or not and read the contents. Don't simply use it coz it is branded. For those dyeing hair one oso the same. smile.gif

izzit u eat too many high salt foods? some foods are high in salt that u do not aware, such as tomato sauce, chili sauce, instant soup, oyster sauce, fast foods, instant noodles.

cafein, pressure, alcohol, sleep late will cause migrain. take care! ^^

This is probably an old school method.

1. Sleep early (so your body can replenish lost/used cells)
2. Eat less maggi/noodles. better still, don't eat at all.
3. Consume/eat consistent amount of PROTEIN everyday. as i know, protein is VERY crucial for maintaining hair growth.
4. Try not to use chemical shampoo. Some of us have sensitive scalp, etc.. like me.. using DOVE/PANTENE will make me drop hair almost immediately, but other ppl may not experience any such effect. this may be due to weak scalp. i suggest u go for "green" shampoo, not those Dove, Pantene, L'oreal kind of shampoo even though they claim it is good, as there are actually alot of chemicals inside to induce hair growth, etc...

Im not sure how serious is this, but i'd recommend a place.. called NEETA, the owner is call NEETA also. you can go to this NEETA to get more info. it is highly recommended by her customers or those who use this product before.

hope this helps =)

Yeah i agree with lummy, dont EVER USE any of those commercialized shampoos like pantene, sunsilk and all those crap. I suffer from such a problem as well and now my top part is a lil bald partly because i used pantene since i was in my primary school days like those anti dandruff and etc and then i realised as years passed by, my hair is thinning. i stopped using those shampoos and tried looking for diff alternatives... =.=

i even went for Sohon treatment once... similar to those like Yunnam and etc and my mom signed up for me for 10 sessions for 10 weeks long! By the 10th week, my hair did seem a lil thicker but well it wasnt that obvious since it's only 10 weeks right? =.= and since then i've been using their shampoo which was pretty good in controlling my oily hair UNTIL SOHON closed down because of some problems! And i had no more contact on how to get those shampoos....

And again, i had to look for shampoos to control my oily scalp.
It had been almost 3 years since i went to SOHON and
the condition of hair is beginning to turn bad again!! =(
still cant find a good oil control shampoo and to enhance hair growth!

But of course i remmeber as well, the SOHON workers
used to always advice me to sleep early, eat loads of fish!
Hah, sleep early is a big probx for me... =( I've tried
many shampoos and hair tonic like hairpro, himalaya..
all doesnt work... my hair continues to drop and
that isnt the biggest problem... IT'S NOT
GROWING =( that's the problem!!!
so any recommended shampoos that are
really effective and have shown good
results?

I'm pretty frustrated as well with my hair loss
problem! =( bcuz of this probx, not able to
grow my hair any longer than to the lowest part
of my neck! Furthermore i'm only 19 =(
so it's kinda saddening seeing all your
friends with nice long hair or having a cousin
who has OVER-THICK hair! =(
And i'm also a female, a guy can still
hide it by going for the bald look but
female is a lil hard... and to ask me to
wear a wig, i refuse, makes me feel
worst!

Do you think seeing a dermatologist
would be beneficial? or a waste of
money?

halo...

actually u should just stick to one type of shampoo,in other words, dun change ur shampoo too often. stress,of coz, can cause serious hair fall too.in my opinion,if u're having serious hair fall now,u better go to see doctor.i've once experienced serious hair fall,i've tried everything like no MSG food, exercising to release stress, drink plenty of water and even tried chinese medicine...yet still not work,so i decided to see doctor. he told me tat my body was lacked of protein,so i took the protein pills routinely, and finally...cured...

all the best...take k.
