Issit because of your family gen? Are any of your family members bald? Suffering hair loss is bad but maybe you can just buy a good hair shampoo which treats bad hair falls.

i actually don't expect it to promote my hair growth,i just hope that it would reduce my hair loss instead...but so far, it's still the same...but i actually like the cleanser a lot...it feels nice on my head....as for hair growth,i'm actually using a hair tonic from wella japan...it does seems to help my hair growth, but my hair loss is still terrible...

if you are having pattern baldness DON"T USE GEL..make your hair fall faster because when you wash it it cause a lot of friction..

What alternative is there besides gel?

Well it's tiring and I've tried to give up a couple of times..like a lot of other people I don't have the handsome botak look so my only option is to find a right remedy for hair loss.

After using a few hair loss products and changing my diet, my hair has grown back up!! So from almost bald a few years back now my head is full.. smile.gif

There is not much anyone can do to stop hair loss.
All treatment out there, even if it can stop your hair loss is only
temporary, and you will lose hair once you stop this treatment.

I used to worry a lot, but now i have stopped and have accepted that
this is male pattern baldness or i have inherited this from my fathers or
mothers side.

So no amount of chemical or treatment will stop hair loss..and none have
discovered anything close yet.

If you do, let me know so we could reap Billions!....nice try..but i am not
buying any fallible stories as per now!...hehe.

Stop worrying and start living, eat well and sleep well, if you lose some hair, its
worth it rather then being unhappy and worrying most of the time.

For me i got a very very short hair cut, close to a crew cut and couldnt be happier.
Even while playing golf in the hot sun, i dont have a problem as i discovered that the
short hair style looks good and no more dandruff and itchy scalp .Once in a while
i rub Almond oil or Olive oil, which doesnt look bad and they dry up pretty fast!

Depression will cause more hair loss, use olive oil and rub your scalp once in a while, to
give your hair luster..although it may not prevent hair loss, but it will certainly improve
the texture of your hair.
Also use mild shampoo only once in a while,as these chemicals can be harmful to the hair.

Hair is a crowing glory, but if you keep it short and tidy, who knows you might look better !

Cheers

Nioxin is good for thickening and cleansing of your scalp area but the product itself does not stop hair loss. What Nioxin does is to create a clean scalp environment plus using herbal and trigger methods to improve your hair thickness but with the presence of DHT, the main cause behind Pattern Baldness, you will still continue to lose your hair.

Hair loss is a medical condition and it's important to always see a doctor first. Most mistakes people make is that they do not pay attention to it until it's too late. The later it gets, the harder to treat it so I suggest if you still got hair on your head, you better start doing something about it now.

If there is a Big M there then it's mostly Pattern Baldness. Pattern Baldness or genetic hair loss to some is the direct cause of DHT and other related factors like stress and malnutrion. DHT stands for Dihydrotestosterone..a male hormone created by Testosterone which female also have in lesser quantity. DHT accumulates in your scalp and cause hair minituarization and eventually falls out. The only way to stop it is to remove DHT from your scalp and to control your lifestyle.

There are only 2 FDA products approved for treating DHT and hair loss..which is Propecia and Rogaine. You can get propecia from a prescription from your doctor. Rogaine you can probably get it in any pharmacy counter( not on the shelves) you got to ask the pharmacist for it. Bear in mind these treatments are not cheap.
