I have read PcWork's review, that's why i will do more research and comparison the 'worthiness' of the original speaker stand.

why don't u try to remove the speaker from it's original stand. and find one most expensive stand available in the market. and try place ur sonus on top of it. see if u still say the same word in describe the sound or not.
i also choked by the price. but when i really buy it. i tell myself.. if i don't spend this RM 2K... the RM 5K i spend for the speaker is just wasted by not performing at full potential...
then this 2K is worth to make another 5K more valuable.
if i don't spend this 2K. my sonus don't sounds like a 7K speaker.. but just like a 3K speaker. lol
and it's more safe too since it has screw beneath it. the speaker won't fall down easily.

before this i am using original B&W stand.. made by aluminium. and the sound is just not right.
so i come to a conclusion that all stand is the same.. but when i give the stand to my brother which he using my B&W 601.. he told me the improvement is unbelievable just by one stand. the speaker sounds bigger. like a floorstander...

so can't even screw the speaker on the stand.

It is OK.. We are just doing trial and error.
I think it is good to share info among members in this forum.

I guess I have problems with the room dimensions as it is almost squarish. (11.5ft x 12ft)
But I am not giving up in getting the best out of it.
I am not convinced that I cant improve it. 

I can feel the reduction in boomy bass after putting in the foams.
Some of those small instruments can be heard now, though minimal.

Alright.. back to the questions.
I feel that the sound stage is still alright but I endure boomy bass and also the clarity.

I am using some songs to do comparisons for my experiments.
Boomy bass = Aaron Neville & Linda Ronstadt (Close Your Eyes)
Clarity = Stacey Kent & Jim Tomlinson (So Nice) saxophone part
Some songs really have no boomy issue at all. 

did u get the manual of the speakers....they'll tell u the positioning and frequencies that u get by certain positioning of the speakers

by the way. i realize that if the floor is hard enough. use the sonus original spike on the floor won't going to scratch the floor as it's head is quite blunt..
and it sounds the best without any spike shoe.
everythings is fast. and yet evolving.
when put on spike shoe. .. it does shrink the positioning a little bit..
PS: above statement were not including harmonix tuning feet.

Next time try harmonix spike base  FR900 mk2, you will know the important of spike base 
Do your speaker cable touching the carpet? If it does, please raise your speaker cable with any method, because static of carpet will drop your signal quality.
