Hmm... the Mr Hobby Gundam Colors that are gundam specific come in flat top bottles - the kind the Mr Color that you thin with water come in... so the Mr Hobby Gundam Colors are water based too?

diff. those gundam color, despite flat top, see properly, it's labeled as "Mr.Color".
those water base is "Mr.Hobby Color".
so Mr Gundam Colors have to use thinner.

actually in art shops they also sell copic ink - comes in small tubes. I have sprayed these on wifeys fingernails direct from the bottle through an AB and they look ok.
i suppose it is possible to use these for modelling as well?

one question... actually 2...

been working on my first MG and almost done with the inner frame, but is it normal to use up almost one whole bottle of mr color paint? that would also mean that i would need to get more paints to finish up the outer armor?
how much paint bottles per mg anyways? I'm normally an SD person so i would like to know sweat.gif

ic ic... well i do not paint the underneath (people actually do this shocking.gif) and i do paint piece by piece whenever possible. I suppose i am a bit wasteful as i do many many thin layers as i prefer the finish... thin and very slightly grainy.
ie. i have been coating the same 20 or so pieces since noon laugh.gif

well, gloss is gloss and semi gloss is well... semi gloss laugh.gif
anyways, it is super clear gloss that you want. and erh teo, rayloke and the rest can probably give you some polishing/finishing tips on top of that.

TM in Times Square stocks masking tapes too. Might cost a little bit more, but the jam going into ampang itself can be a killer at times.
I think Hobby HQ (iirc) in the old shopping complex diagonally opposite Menara Citibank has them too.

hi, i don't dare to touch the hose, because it might affect the tightness & sealing of the hose which may result in air leaks. Also don't know what sizes of hose to get.

If can I would like to modify the hose to fit my Gunze Sangyo pro-spray mk-iii. What do you guys think about this brush compared to toploaded? I notice Toploaded paint can spray longer while bottom loaded finishes pretty quick.

My compressor has a tiny airtank for buffering, there's a moisture trap i can see moisture accumulated in the trap. So how do i remove the trap? Is it auto drain or I need to do something?

bring the ab and the hose to a hardware shop, some shops will have a connector for sale. If you are in KL, can ask AF Hobby, he has done it before iirc.

Uh oh, chrome wars anyone? laugh.gif
The gold plated inner frame bits unfortunately cannot be replicated 100%. We had a bit of a war of words regarding this a while back and iirc the conclusion was that no matter how hard you polish 'chrome gold from a bottle/spray' it will still look different. Better than the shitty yellow gold colour of the runner, but not as bling as the chrome.
