Hmm... the one I'm using is Testor's 1260 (Dull Cote Overcoat Lacquer), it was recommended by the hobbyman. So if I can't use this, what can I use to coat the acrylic? Because acrylic seems to flake so easily and cannot be protected at all, that's why I was hoping to spray some overcoat.

Can I still salvage the part that I destroyed (ie the biji biji part). Good thing I tried out first before coating the entire model.

PPS: I thought the rule was Acrylic over Enamel over Lacquer? So Enamel can go over Acrylic also? Can Lacquer go over Enamel?

PPPS: What overcoat can be used to coat both Acrylic and Enamel?

I managed to wash off both the lacquer and acrylic paint with thinner and resprayed it with the undercoat paint. And I tried overcoating the hull (which I painted with acrylic paint as well) with the same lacquer overcoat, but this time spraying it at a larger distant and use lesser volume, and wahla!!! NO biji biji. I think the trick here is to use less lacquer so it doesn't melt the acrylic and when that layer of lacquer dry, put another layer...
