Well, I am not against Eukanuba because Marquis is eating that now. Eukanuba is what the breeder feed it, so I continue to give it till maybe 4 - 6 months old before changing so that he's in a more stable, happy and accepting condition prior to the change.
What I am trying to say is: those brands you can get from convenience store (not pet store) is the general or generic brand of dog kibbles. For example, Alpo, Eukanuba and Pedigree.
I would prefer my furkids to eat something else since I can afford it. So, I go for Natural Balance or Evanger, my two favorite brands. Occassionally, I swap for Eaglepack, Acana or whatever I can find off the shelf of a pet store. I just try to avoid Eukanuba, Alpo and Pedigree.
Example: If you want to buy a pro mountain bike, would you buy one from Tesco or would you buy from a bicycle specialist shop? Mountain bike, RM200 also got, RM20,000 also got. Another brand I avoid is Science Plan - I just dont like it. Dont ask me why.
Here, read this:
http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/how-often-s...ange-foods.html and find the ratings of dogfood in this same website as well. Check out where Eukanuba, Alpo or Pedigree stands... I dont know but I think it's not some 4 star, 5 star or 6 star rated dog kibble.
