I just talk to an engineer working with TM he said that TM is now deploying new infrastructure on their core switches changing from using Nokia to Ericsson brand, they scheduled the progress should be end of this month. They are doing the work at night.

this few week feel like the connection thru outside nor inside malaysia not stable.when around 3am-9am connection only stable.i think local state gov need pinned this issue.if there was need take quality action against isp and sued them.they should do it.we cant just always wait for one isp monopoly the business until the user pay for they bad quality service..another scandal and propaganda to punish opposition voter and pay for the price.

I've emailed to the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission as some forumer said that Streamyx will react fast if complaint to MCMC.

But it seems not the case for this issue, as no reply from both Streamyx and MCMC for this problem. Maybe too many ppl have wrote to them and they just ignore it as the easier solutions

MCMC will only react fast when you complain on any other broadband service provider (expect for streamyx tongue.gif)

Update: Streamyx just replied me saying that they apologize for the issue and request some time for thorough investigation by relevant department.

Well YangXi probably I'm going to get a VPN service. Que MX510 advertising Torrentflux below my thread hehe  icon_rolleyes.gif

I also find OpenDNS servers too far for my liking. They do not have any Asian based servers at all from what i saw mostly US/Europe and thinking of adding 1 to Hong Kong. You should try this DNS service it seems to be better for me. They also have servers all round the world.

http://www.dnsadvantage.com/dnsadv/node_locations.html

Compare their locations vs OpenDNS you will see the difference for your self. I also noticed my pages load faster with this new DNS provider  thumbup.gif  icon_idea.gif Good luck have fun. I'm probably gonna use SecureAx as my VPN we shall see  rclxm9.gif

I got this DNS range very rare for me 118.100. Seems to be working well very low pings to all international servers. Yeah the new DNSadvantage is way better then OpenDNS because of their server locations. Every continent has a few servers.

I also had to set up port forwarding. Got TCPOptimizer and set my connection manually for an optimum setup. I was playing WOW and my friends just laugh when i say i gotta do all this just to enjoy my game with low pings. Thank god for the registry hack i use for WOW brings down latency for games by a lot.

I'll most probably be using a VPN too we shall see. hmm.gif

Omfg was checking my mail while typing this and lo behold TMnut actually replied to my screenshot proof of their failures icon_rolleyes.gif
