right...but now on direct line no splitter. house phone at lower floor. is it due to the faulty phone? cannot be, i just replace mine last month and its from telekom certified phone

access to ImageShack have been very bad for the past few weeks. Most of the time it simply won't load any images from ImageShack.

anyone experiencing massive lag in streamyx?
i cant browse yahoo, google, youtube, and most int sites.

strange...i cant enter most local sites..international sites...still fine...

even manual connect pun oso nid to take more than minute to connect.... ~_~

i have been keep disconnected and suffer from very very slow speed. called them up to reset the port for me, it will be ok for an hour, after that, the speed starting to crawl and disconnect itself. made a report and they said will check the jumper settings in 2 days!! WTF!! my holidays juz started and they give me such headache!!!

i somehow found that that this streamyx is pretty weird.. im currently using 512kbps packagefor more than 2 yrs and most of the time i can have stable internet connection.. i know sometimes (most of the time, actually), the ping/latency to server while playing online games can be ridiculously high, but thats it.. i can still surf the webs whether they are local websites or international websites.. just my complain is about the ping during online gaming.. btw, im from sarikei, sarawak..

well, i just get back a better connection.
after request the technician talk to me directly, inform him to change to fast path, and change the port as well.
now goes back smooth.

and yea..i dont torrent..except for those linux OS only i torrent

before that all almost request timeout.

previously my line able to get 218.111, 218.208, 219.95,219.94, 118.110, 64.52, .65.54, 64.48, now only keep getting 64. range, but i happy with it as long as i have a stable connection

may i know how can i do this thing? im using AZTECH DSL605e

i noticed lately that i ended up in the 118 range and at this very moment i have a staggering 158 bytes/second (you read it correctly) download speed from yousendit. i am subscribed to a 1,5 Mb/sec line ... might as well get the goddamn file myself.

118 range is more like screwed ip range.

I suggest you to reconnect again to get another range

And I hate this kind of latency every night

have problem connecting to HK site. slow. With speedtest.net <250Kbps with 512package.

slowmyx(streamyx) always alot of problems.. sigh..malaysia boleh lah..

Look at your DS and US Line Attenuation. Its somewhat bad for your downstream. and loo kat your DS Margin , its very bad. Too low. No wonder your download speed sucks and you are facing lots of disconnection. Now read up http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/222851 . Call up 103 and mail them. You may want to mail to MCMC as well. This is the reason why your streamyx is poor
