You are like complaining without facts. Give facts , suppose if your line is good then by all means you can go ahead and complain to MCMC. Otherwise people would consider you as "Talking cock". To send to MCMC and NCCC you need very good proofs. Otherwise its a no go !

do this, i am also having this problem in petaling jaya area,

ping 202.188.0.133 -t

if connection is okie ping will get reply non stop

if connection start to have problem you'll get alot of timed out,

its been up and down for me. if i see time out no point doing anything online, if okie everythign is smooth and fine..

my problme already 11-12 days already

oh lord this is getting crazy and crazy !!!!

mine oso likedat last few weeks , i do speed test withink 2 minit likedat, the speed from drop from 700kbs to200kbs then rise up again n down again

Hi, can you guys see if my line is ok?



I have to connect to my neighbours wireless to post this.. Damn connection is always slow during the mornings. I'm in subang jaya(usj area) btw.

Now the connection is back to normal grrr, is tmnet purposely setting a time frame for my internet usage!!!?? Anyone know other alternatives to streamyx?

As always fast speed on 218.111 and 218.208 ip range this ip got differen routing compare to 60.* ip range

seem like your line attenuation is quite high..but the slow streamyx problem is not just affect u alone..we all suffer the same..seem like there is something wrg with streamyx international line...

u all facing the problem when u surf internation website ??


i was so hard to connect, and even after connect, the signal is so low that i HARDLY to go any single website


im from cheras n my fren from sunway said she faced the same too...

normally i got something like this
Us Rate (Kbps) 512
Ds Rate (Kbps) 1536 (Lowest is 32kbps)
US Margin 26
DS Margin 20 (Highest is 31 and lowest <5)

are they trying to capped my 512 kbps connection? or due to faulty telekom line (rust/oxidized), faulty modem (got 2 modem showed the same thing). it is like after sometime, my speed degrades to the lowest 32kbps and sometimes N/A.

normally what i do is, i open the line white box (not splitter,but same shape/size) and short circuit the 2 telekom wires. after that my connection resumes to normal and fast speed. what do you think with my technique? any one tried before? 9 out of 10 i used this short circuited thing works and bring back my connection to life

o.o what you mean by "back to alive"? more faster then before? maybe u do that and the dslam we connect to shortcircuit? and couse the probelm ? o.0

Added on June 16, 2008, 3:44 pmif i do test i wont get more then 800kbps downlaod and 300 uplod lol... my area was one of teh first few to get stremyx when it was first launch. at least some of you get 1.5mbit download and 512 upload,

what i get only 1mbit and 384kbps upload

u will see the normal white box which is similar to the splitter. open it you will find the 2 telekom wire, in my case the wire is black and the copper is kinda stiff. i just took a metal (like a key) and shorted between them. to my suprise the SNR from 4-5 jumped to 31 and my data rate from as low as 32kbps resumed back to 1536 (512 kbps package).

instead of reset/on/off my adsl modem, i found out that short circuited the 2 telekom wire worked better

Now I'm having a very lousy connection
Once I opened the BT without start any of the download task then the ping all of it will be request timed out from on top until below
What should I do?
I've complained to streamyx and they said it is server port problem and will get the technician to settle it,but it has been 1 week without any differences

try short circuit your telekom line.
