You can try The Jewel at Mount Faber. You can even opt to have a dinner in the cable car. smile.gif Last time I went there, there was a promotion for the dinner in a cable car @ SGD39.90 per couple. Not sure what's the price now.  blush.gif

Hi,

Just get off at Harbourfront Station and proceed to Harbourfront Tower. Then you can purchase the cable car ticket to Mount Faber from the Harbourfront Tower. smile.gif

Yes, you can get to the Harbourfront Tower from Vivocity. It depends on you actually. For me, the ambience in Mount Faber is much better, albeit dining there is more costly. You can refer to http://www.mountfaber.com.sg/ for more informations on Mount Faber. smile.gif

Yes, 24hrs. Border security is very important to S'pore.

Here's the link to checkpoint:

laugh.gif Thanks, I've gone there and back already. Done 1600km, Pg to Sinkapo and back. No wonder I dun see any Penang cars. Hardly see any Malaysian registered cars in the 3 days driving in Sinkapo. Was expecting a few Johor cars but I guess they are parked at the Sands. laugh.gif

Oh, dun need to buy the card reader they somehow know how to charge you S$5 per day for the ERP charges, no matter how many times you pass the gantry. Just need to buy their 'AUTOPASS' for S$10 and later need to reload at any 7E outlets.
Parking at the HDB area need coupons 50cent for half and hour, and S$2 for over night. The coupons are purchased in booklets in 7E also.

No need map, just use my handphone GPS and malfree maps.

I suspect the ERP overhead gantree having some form of powerfull chip detector or even powerful camera that can detect any M'sian cars passing by liao.. & thus, easy for them to detect upon exiting..Anyway..Sinkapor Govt very fair for M'sian cars wan..only charge S$5/day whereas their citizen it's not S$5/day but counted by numbers of entry..haha

I think they have powerful camera with number recognition software that auto update their data.

BTW Bro, many thanks for the advices on GPS, without it I wont have make it to Sinkapo, some more driving in Sinkapo to so many places.

I now know why Sinkapo drivers tends to drive veli fast in Malaysia! laugh.gif
