Yes, there is an event called singfest on the 3 august if I'm not wrong, a 3 days event.

I usually buy my perfume at lucky plaza, right in front of the escalator. I've been buying there
for many years, yes its cheap. But I'm nt sure of the authenticity lol. Beware though.

Guys, I have a question. If I am to bring raw meat, let's say bacon or chicken. Will I have trouble
entering the country? I brought cooked ones before, no problem. But what about raw meat?

I sometimes just missed home cooked food by my grandma hahaha...so bring some over lol. In case
I crave for them very badly.

Honestly, quite hard to use $8 on public transport in one day in singapore. Even if you go from one end of singapore to the other its only $2. Suggest you get the ezlink card instead if you are there for a few days.

Sleeping in Singapore is super expensive. A normal 3 star hotel in the CBD (don't say budget hotel) can cost $200-$300 a night! I don't understand why hotels in Singapore are so expensive! I know its heavily populated but Hong Kong is also heavily populated and the hotels there are cheaper!

Yup, like I said, budget hotels aside (Hotel Hamilton is one of them), the rest will cost you an arm and a leg. Another choice would be the famous (or infamous) Hotel 81. Which isn't that cheap too if you get the ones near CBD.

Only those in Geylang are in red light zone. otherwise..no. Anyway, Geylang & little India opposite Sim Lim plaza are the areas you really can find cheap budget hotels (Geylang) & hostels (Little India)

Although Geylang is very notorious and lotsa pro & ah kuas lurking around the roads at night...It is not a problem. You can even roam that area at night..really lively and the hotel81 is suprisingly clean. & cleaner than lotsa 3 stars rated hotels in malaysia!
