don't expect any clean water in sg beaches. our redang/sipadan/tioman are better

even the beach view is full of cargo ships

I am visiting a friend in Singapore soon, and was thinking to bring along a bottle of vodka and Baileys too. Could i get them from LCCT Duty free shop? I know about the 1 liter rule for bringing in liquor to Singapore, but i don't know what category would Baileys be placed in. Or could i get them at the Changi Airport? As far as i know, there are 2 duty free stores in the airport that is the Wine & Cigar one, and the other one which sells only spirits.

If not, what stores are there in orchard , that sells vodka and baileys?

If u drive in, enduse valid road tax, & use your roadtax to apply for the cashcard / Singapore Touch & Go (min S$10) thereafter drive in 7 follow the speed limit.

Need to bring our car registration card? What about the extra toll for traveling at peak hours or in to the center of town?
Wanted to drive into Sinkapo but heard they got so many restriction and exorbitant toll and parking charges?
Some more drive so far and all the way from Penang, how la? unsure.gif

Actually the registration card thingy is not really necessary but once in blue moon they will ask esp 1st timer applying for the SG touch & go card. For sure they will ask for your renewal of road tax slip and if you dun bring both, they still let you go & ask you to bring the road tax renewal slip in your nxt visit.

Driving during peak hour for m'sian is cheaper than Singaporean bcos irregardless of how many times you enter CBD, you still be charged S$5/day upon exit (You swipe your card at the SG side of Causeway & S$5 will be charged/weekday entering CBD). During Weekend, it's 100% free. BTW, on SG roadtax, M'sian are given 10 free days excluding Weekend to enter SG without any roadtax burden.

Oh BTW..Ensure sufficient S$ inside your card bcos, there was one year I kena saman S$10 for insufficient fund & they charged me the nxt following trip I entered SG...haizzz

Toll towards JB is ~ RM40++ so 2 ways ~ RM80. Petrol for the distance of ~400km will be ~ RM60/way so RM120 for 2 ways...In Singapore, expect more CBD toll of S$5/day if weekdays ~ etc..So better budget ~ RM300 for toll & fuel only
