It's at Lorong 4 Toa Payoh, Block 85C. Take MRT to Toa Payoh MRT station and walk. Or there's bus from Orchard Road to Lorong 4 TP.

1. Anyone has any nice and romantic restaurants to recommend in Singapore? Im planning to give my bf a surprise bday dinner with live band singing bday song if possible?

2. Anyone has tried the flight stimulator experience in Singapore Flyer? Mind to share with me the flying experience and which package did you take?

A friend of mine, plans to visit Singapore on the first week of March. He asked me to find out some details about his stay but i think it's better for me to consult the members here.

1) Which would be a good hotel to stay? He will be there for 2 nights 3 days, and wants either a 4 or 5 star hotel. 3 Star hotel can be considered. 2 People in 1 room, he and his wife.
2) How would he pay / make reservation for the hotel if he doesn't have a credit card? Could he go to the hotel on the day of arrival to Singapore and pay them in cash? Or is there anyway around this?

That would be all. Thank you smile.gif

just curious, if u want stay 4/5 star hotel, why not use credit card?
cash is tricky cos usually hotel will ask for some deposit, maybe 1 or 2 nite also.

He went through some fraud case previously where he had to cancel all his credit cards. That is why he prefers to pay by cash for the time being. What are his options if he wants to pay solely by cash?

Both these hotels accept Cash payment? And the amount made payable by credit card holders shouldn't be different than by cash right?

Update: He informed me that he was thinking of getting a debit card to pay for the hotel to avoid these inconvenience. What debit card that is available in malaysia that you would recomend him?

Esplanade area..I think there are no budget hotel/hostel

But u can find budget hostel surrounding Little India opposite Sim Lim Plaza area.. Just check wth hostelworld...For hotel the cheapest is either hotel81 or Fragrance hotel groups.. Their rate slightly more/less RM100/nite but mostle located in Geylang
