Yeah her trip sounds fantastic, everything went smoothly biggrin.gif

Now I am seriously consider should I stay in JB Tune Hotel or just check-in to Value Hotel. (about SGD100+/night)

A little contradict as I have bought my air tickets from MY to SG, which means we would have no transport in SG, that sounds a little weird to take a bus back to JB (if we were to stay in Tune Hotel JB) laugh.gif
*
Hmmm ya a bit wierd... because the shuttle bus u have to buy from Danag Bay Tune Hotels.... if from SG how u go over neh~~ i liek Tune because it is clean... Value hotel at SG dont know will it b as clean as tune~ but u already bought the air tix already~ unless u can change the destination fly to Johor~ else i think maybe not so worth it.....

earliest bus is 7am depart Danga Bay .. latest is 10.30pm depart USS so for me it is good lor =)

*
Hihi! yes 4 hours so fst.. yup watch new york street .. erm underwater world(where is this? im going in aug again wanna watch this!!)? lol maybe miss out that.. watch 4D Shrek also... 25mins there..

hmm.. no Q for me leh... Q for less then 5 mins for those rides.. longest is the 4D Shrek only.. so u say leh?

Q for 5 mins play less then 1 min ... played the Dino ride (2 person front 2 person sit at the back) Q for i think 3 mins..

then play the water splash thing.. forgot called what.. reach there my turn to get up.. play for 1-2 mins... a bit long for this can see dino all the way..

play the like dragon train at far far away.. this Q for 5-10mins.. but 1 min done.... then go for 4D Q very long maybe 15-20minsforgot.. watch 25mins

skip the mummy ride.. seems scary... n another i saw got those car type at mummy there skip that also macam tooo childish..

then until the very scary roller coaster there.... havent open even open also wont play hahaha.... skip the turning cup ride... i will get dizzy

went to the new york street no Q for 1-2mins my turn.. watch for 5 mins...

then watch some show outside the restaurant... got 1 stage there

hmmm.. i think thats all leh.. did i miss out anything? went for some picture capturing time at madagascar, shrek, many la i dont know their name LOL too old hahahah but all also Q for 5-10mins.....

wanted to go back for the 1st ride... but i saw the Q very long... so my advise is go at 10am once the gate open... dont wait till 12/1 many people... even restaurant also the same...

There are lockers inside very exp SGD4 per hr ... so dont bring heavy bags.. like someone mention there are those drink water machine.. bring 1 empty bottle inside more then enough.. u can refill it

You can try The Jewel at Mount Faber. You can even opt to have a dinner in the cable car. smile.gif Last time I went there, there was a promotion for the dinner in a cable car @ SGD39.90 per couple. Not sure what's the price now.  blush.gif

can get there via MRT?

Hi,

Just get off at Harbourfront Station and proceed to Harbourfront Tower. Then you can purchase the cable car ticket to Mount Faber from the Harbourfront Tower. smile.gif

Hey dear~~ depends on what method and price you want~

I went to USS this yr twice~ both on economic ways =)

1st time, took bus to jb, stay at tunes hotel~ tunes hotel have shuttle bus direct to uss =)

2nd time, drove to jb, stay at tunes hotel too~ haha same thing took the shuttle bus =)

bus to uss around 45mins-1hr depends on traffic, bring u direct there, easly morning n leave it the late nite 10:30 if i didnt remeber wrongly =)

So~ this is the cheapest way i guess~

Another way is to travel at night and return the next day. There are many buses (actually I prefer to call them coach) that depart from Bukit Jalil (while they still operate form there) between 11:00pm to 12:00 midnight. Sleep through the journey and you should reach Singapore by 4:45am to 5am depending how crowded is the Tuas checkpoint. Most likely you'll drop off at the Golden Miles Complex.

You have two way to get to the town area. Take a walk to Lavender MRT station and the first train departs that station around 5:45am and you'll be able to get to any destination via MRT. Otherwise take a cab directly into town.

Take the 6:30pm or 7:00pm coach back to KL. That way you have the whole day in Singapore to do whatever you want.

You can take a bus from just outside Marina Bay and it will take you directly to the Shoppe. I think the bus frequency is not that often so a lot of people prefer to walk.

If you don't want to walk, take MRT from VivoCity and then alight at Bugis Station (assume you know how to change line). Wait for bus 133 at the bus station outside Bugis Junction (facing Iluma I think). The bus will take you directly to the front of Marina Bay Sand Hotel.
*
yup been to bugis, friend told me a lot of shopping there... but..... when i arrived on my last trip it is like those mornign market only... sigh
hmm if take bus from bugis how long will arrive marina bay? aa~~ prefer to take mrt directly~~ if want to go back to bugis station from marina also take 133 bus?

if u going to Marina Sands i think Promenade is better, since it a bit nearer n u get to walk along the Helix Bridge. Marina Bay station is kinda like at the middle of nowhere.

as for Astons... there's 1 in The Cathay (Dhoby Ghaut station), but its damn long q during meal time.
*
hmmm~~ okok

Astons can do reservations? the one at cathay? or any other neayby mrt?

I have walked from both Marina Bay and Promenade station to Marina Bay Sands before. Both will take about 15 min casual walk to actually reached the Shoppe.

If you are rushing for time than it is easier to take a bus from the nearest MRT then to sweat under the hot sun. Yes both route doesn't have any cover so you'll be walking under the sun.

Take bus 133 from Bugis station is my best option so far. Take bus 106 to return to Dolby Ghaut or 133 to return to Bugis station.

Added on November 29, 2010, 12:57 pm

The shopping mall above Bugis station is called Bugis Junction. I think the market you mentioned is the one across the road from Bugis Junction similar to our Petaling Street.

Take bus from Bugis station to Marina Bay Sands is less than 10 minutes. Yes you can take 133 to return to Bugis station. You can also take bus 106 to return to Dolby Ghaut or bus 97 to return to Suntec City.

Unfortunately there is no MRT that take you directly to Marina Bay Sands. Both the Promenade and Marina Bay station is about 15 min walk from Marina Bay Sands.
*
hmm.. good good~ thank you so much for your info =)

hehe~ you again dear, ty so much for your info, remember on my last sg trip u help me a lot too~
erm i think no turkey >.< dont like turkey meat doesnt taste good for me~

yaya must be close to MRT else got no car ma~~

budget can go up to SGD60~ best is around SDG5x lor~ (is it too low for xmas dinner?)

i like this place called Brahaus - walking distance from Novena MRT, but it's german food... if there's a beer lover, this place would be great as there's more than 100 varieties of beers from different countries, and the pork knuckles are very very nice.

if you want a smashing time, there's also Esmirada at Orchard Road which is a greek restaurant... the skewers & paella are rather nice. The highlight of this place is that they follow a greek tradition of smashing plates on the floor which happens around dinner time (you'll be given a few plates to throw around), but if you are reserving, check with them in advance if that is happening on the said night.

Last recommendation is at Stellar @ 1-Altitude... expensive but it's the highest restaurant in singapore at 282 metres. As for the view, enuff said  laugh.gif

wah~~ very nice view hahaha >.< but i dont like german(tried before but for xmas, no =)) nor greek food(i guess, never tried before)
prefer those chicken, fish, lamb~~ you know? got 1 restaurant above vivo? the floor is made of wood? aiyoo i forgot the name of the restaurant, inside got live band the time i went~
