but p/s if you are in Vivo, just opposite Earle swensons, there's a japanese shop called fruit paradise, you may want to get a pie there as Xmas dessert...

Hi, which is the most convenient way to get to singapore from JB without a car? When is the best time/day to enter so it won't be too congested at immigration?

Thanks.    Can take this bus even if you don't stay there? Will this bus wait for you when you get checked by immigration? Are there many things to see at Sentosa? From the tunehotel website there's another bus to marina bay, how does that place compare to Sentosa? Is it far to go from there to Chinatown/Orchard Road?

hey lingling, most buffet is international wan wo... some recommendations are the Pariss international seafood buffet at Marina Square (City Hall MRT) or at Ngee Ann City (Orchard MRT) or the Vienna International Seafood & Teppanyaki Buffet restaurant (Novena MRT). Of course there are also many buffets at the high-end hotels all over Singapore.

if your idea of western is having lots of meat, then can go for Brazilian Churrascaria. There's one called Carnivore Brazilian Churrascaria at Vivocity at about $50-$60 per head.

no la... these international buffets i recommend is about $40 per pax during public holidays & dinner rates. I don't think buffet places charge extra during xmas, you can try to call both to double confirm prices & if booking can be done lo...

steak? seafood? grill?

or maybe i can suggest the jewel box at mount faber? you can get there by cable car from harbourfront tower 2 (just beside vivocity) or cable car from Sentosa itself.

there are a few restaurants there, maybe a little expensive at >$60 per pax for their Xmas dinner set, but i think it's worth it for the experience. Here's a random blog if you are interested

hmmm i don't know of any nice western platters... i still think the best is tony romas... i know you can get it in malaysia but the pork ribs in SG (not beef ribs!!!) are really the main highlight of Tony Roma!!! prices are reasonable too, and booking can be done...

I had never been to SG before. Planning a cheap visit. Is the budget of around RM700-800 possible for a 3D 2N SG? (including stay, bus/train to SG from KL and some attractions of singapore)
