i think down in singapore in serangoon or sembawang road i forgot what name is it
theres alot of backpacker hotels there which are cheap 25sgd a night. google it. |

larkin station is further than your hotel .. or take the taxi to the checkpoint and board the bus to cross over .. it depends on where you're going after that ... if you take the bus, you can straight away take the MRT to your destination, else by taxi might charge you more. |

hmm.. but let's say we're in Singapore till the wee hours in the morning, how do we come back to Johor? the public transports will be closed rite?

there's always a cab around but hard to find cheaper alternatives at those hours.

Hey, I've read about the hotel not "clean".
Btw, I don't see how you can save cost by staying in JB hotel. Besides, around the JB city area not quite safe too -snatch thief, robbery etc. Grand Paragon promo rate starts from RM$220, right? thinking of going to singapore this coming december.........
for a family of 3 with 1 infant ( 10 month old) please suggest a place to stay or just stay in jb and go there every day like let say 3-4 days........ do we need to have passport?.......if wanna stay there for 3 days...... whats the main attraction there....... 1) shopping 2) place to go/visit |

Cheapest will be those B&B surrounding Little India opposite Sim Lim Plaza..Price start from S$25.
For budget & clean hotels, Yeah..Hotel81 & Gragrant groups..lotsa them in Geylang.. Since you're going to be in a group, why not stay in YMCA Singapore as it's located on orchard road itself. Saves you the trouble from getting transport back and forth from Johor. |

i suggest to stay at South East Asia Hotel near old temple.

Sound & look like pretty old hotel...If sked of Geylang Ah Kua, can try Hotel 81 opposite Sim lim square liao..Super new, boutique quality room but not really cheap..
