Hi chenster,

To get to Jurong Point, take the MRT at Changi Airport to Boon Lay. It will take over an hour though cos Boon Lay is at the other end of Singapore.

Sentosa Island, recommended to take the monorail from Vivocity/Harbourfront(also a MRT station). The monorail pass will be $3 and you can use all the busses and trains around Sentosa for the day.

As for Uniqlo, its a Japanese casual wear outlet, located at Tampines (use MRT again!). In my opinion, the clothing there isnt that great although worth a look. Tampines is pretty near Changi Airport so you might want to check it out.

thanks a lot for all good advice..
yea.. i saw uniqlo in the mrt stations.. but i didnt go tho..

first reached singapore then took cab back to jurong west.. cuz getting late and dun wanna take mrt.. luckily didn;t because the trip really takes about an hour from one end to another end..
but i did take the mrt to changi on my flight back.. but mistaken because it stops at terminal 3 which is the first class terminal.. i somehow found my way to terminal 1.. which where airasia is..

anyway.. did not go to sentosa as my fren there says there's nothin much.. so i went marina parade instead.. and ride a bicycle.. haha..
that's about it.. went takashimaya look for a fren's coach.. eat some curry puff.. shop at bugis..

Hi guys,

i'm wondering if anyone knows of any apartment to rent in Singapore for 2 nights stay? i'll be heading there end of next month (july) and i'll be going with my wife & parents-in-law. So hotel is out cos too expensive. The apartment need to have 2-bedroom, preferably, both with double bed. My frend told me about Somerset Apartment-Hotel...tho they have 2-bedroom at reasonable price (around SGD220/night) one room comes with king size bed and the other single bed nia...

any suggestions?? thanks!

whats the nearest MRT to Fort Canning Park? also what is the name of area orchard?, im looking to find a cheap accommodation near on in close vicinity of the park. duration 3d2n budget <$30/nite any recommendation?

also anyone mind sharing some experience taking train to SG & back. is it comfy? safe? iam a history freak & i don't mind the extra hours 4 the journey. Taking the overnight train back to KL sound like fun but afraid this whole traveling by train thingie is extinct already. ohh did i tell you i will be traveling alone tongue.gif

Lastly take a ride on SG flyer worth the rm70++? thx in advance.
