hello, wanna ask is it necessary to key in the passport details while booking airasia flight to singapore ?
I always do that and, at the airport the air asia crew will verify it against your e-ticket.Travel Singapore, Q&A & Driving into Singapore - on Pg1

Can update later too although I did that everytime I booked. For eg..early this Morning I booked Saigon but my passport will be expiring 2 mths b4 my trip..just update using current passport nia & thereafter closer to the date, go and renew & back to AA website to update new passport no.
If no passport yet, just use your IC 1st or just key-in dummy number. |

Hey, wanna know if there are any recommendations for cheap hotels/backpackers hostel/inn? Am planning a trip around mid October. Want to get a proper room, not dorm. Budget probably more or less around SGD80. If can cheaper, better.
I looked around but most inns/hostels do not have attached bathroom. So far under consideration only The Hive Backpacker's Hostel, YMCA and maybe Hamilton Hotel. Anyone heard of Hamilton Hotel (can't find much info on it)? Or if The Hive Backpacker's Hostel double room comes with attached bathroom? Or any idea how big is their single room? I mean can fit two persons or not? Thanks alot! |

Hotel81 at Geylang-lah..You can try checking their rate using agoda/asiarooms..No need S$80. You can even get hotel81 for RM100!
Cheap, super clean & comes wth attached bathroom. something similar to Genting 1st world size but much cleaner. |

But I think all others are common bathrooms besides Hangout@Emily. But Hangout@Emily's prices are all ++. God knows how much they all charge extra. Will enquire though. Thanks!A Beary Good Hostel : http://www.abearygoodhostel.com/rates.htm Rucksack Inn : http://www.rucksackinn.com/ Feel at Home : http://www.feelathome.com.sg/reservation.htm Fern Loft Backpackers : http://www.fernloft.com/rates.html @stimix: would prefer not to stay at Hotel81 at Geyland area cos will have girls mer. @panasonic88: yeah, it looks not bad, but abit over my budget. will consider if next time when not on budget. heh. Anyone been to The Hive Backpacker's Hostel? Heard not bad reviews on it. And it's cheap! Or any info on Hamilton Hotel at Lavender? Couldn't find much information on it. So not sure if it's good. |
