i just made a call to TOA and ask them if i can further my degree there..but they said most probably cannot..SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from what the staff told me, he said frmo all the cases he met before, almost everyone cannot do this.unless ur portfolio veryyyyyyy good..which i think i surely no chance..

and they said if i further my degree, i will be suffering as well? coz our sylabbus is diff.

hmm, from my own point of view i would think it is impossible to further your degree in TOA. This is because as u mention before the syllabus in TOA and LKM would be different. Not only syllabus the subject would be different too. Dont say art subject, for moral subject, TOA and Taylor's also different. Therefore is hard for you to continue. Anyway anything could happen, just pray hard and hope u can pass thru. But why dont you finish up ur degree at LKM??

at first i plan to finish my degree at lkw..but then from what i've listen in these 4months, i really don wish to further @ lkw anymore..

btw, i plan to take up diploma in TOA..hows it? can anyone explain to me more about the diploma there?
and another thing i quite worried next time diploma grad will get a lil bit more disavantage than degree

hmmm ur question some one asked b4, mayb u can go back few pages to check on it. btw, if u really wan to know more about it, u can always go to the main block(beside maybank). go up to the counter and ask them tat you want to know more about the courses in TOA.

If wan taking digital animation , how good of a laptop needed ? a simple low end laptop enough ? Or need some high end 1 to do all those 3d stuffs ? whats the price range for the required laptop ?

Hi Heroez,

If you are just starting.. I'd suggest you get cheap laptop for 1st year and 2nd year uses. In 2nd year or 3rd year, you will need a desktop, powerful enough to do you animation and modeling. Why? Because if you were to buy a desktop now, a year or two later, new technology comes out and the price will drop.

If you are really tight on budget, forget getting a new computer, wait till 2nd or 3rd year then buy a desktop, most project in foundation year (1st year) is traditional anyway.

Desktop and laptop in comparison, you can get cheaper price for higher performance with desktop whilst laptop can only give you mobility, that's a no-brainer. If you are talking about work, of course performance comes first; If you are talking about presentation, you'll need mobility to facilitate you.

In all, think wisely. Don't be influence by what others have, think what you really need.
