im planning to switch to diploma.. haha, can u explain some?

Hmmm, i cant say much coz i just onli at year2 sem2, but from the pass sem, they do teach us marketing. My lect was Dr. Vincent, he's a very experiences guest lect, he's good in marketing and business, and as i knw(heard from some1), diploma are mostly base on design and ideas and even concept , but degree is base on those essay writing, training those degree student to write. With this small information i hope it helps.

ya, but basically, what do u think is the best if someone is going to advertising field? strong in concept thinking but a little lack of skill, or the other way round, strong skill but a little weak in writing? hmm... than do the course train u to speak up? any writing? i mean for diploma.

Coz, in advertising field ur concept must be strong so that ppl can remember ur ad or tvc, coz skills u can learn from anywhere, anytime. but ur concept it takes time. As for diploma course i taking, they dont really train us on speaking and writing.

i think i have replied in previous post... yea u may ask the one academy... mostly can... since its foundaion rite? i am not 100% sure but i think so... ^^
be prepared for very heavy theorical work if you join degree....

hmmm i dont think is enough, we cant 100% depends on lect. Sometime we have to go and do research ourself to be a better person. About degree course, i'm still thinking about it. Why? Do u wan to sponser my degree?

Spent damn lot money recently getting the materials for art rendering and also wacom intuos4 lol.

wat do u mean by teach step by step? ur step by step mean?

hmm...like teaching how to use the software something, will the lecture guide u along? or will only teach the brief n let u guys to explore more deeper urself?

They will give you demonstration, after that you will be given a period of time to try out yourself. Any question can ask the lecturer.

Um, hello everyone.

I'm sitting for my SPMs this year, and I'm planning to join TOA next year, maybe the April or July/August intake.

Currently I've got my tuition fees covered, but I was wondering how much the general living expenses there are. The hostel is around 350~ I think, so how much will it cost to rent a room around the Sunway area?

Also, how much would the food/toiletry expenses recur there? I'm not a big spender (Well, I can be thrifty if I have to, that is, LOL) so I can live on the mamak/chinese food stalls if I have to.

So uh, around how much is the food/things there? I don't eat much, but I heard you might die if you don't eat. :\

I live in PJS 9, quite near to TOA. The rooms here range from 400 to 1000 per room. You would have to share with someone if you want to get in for cheaper price, I know it's expensive but hey, it's Sunway.

We have economy rice, mamak... don't worry about this. RM10 is suffix for a day, at least I can, not coming from a rich family by the way. If you can cook that'd be a plus of course.

Other expenditure is hard for me to gauge for you, we do have Giant in Pyramid. I guess that answers your need.

i wanna apply for diploma in Singaopre NAFA..but most prob cant la..so i think mayb i will join toa for degree..

can i know if multimedia design is the same with LKW creative multmedia? multimedia design got teach 2d,3d,animation,video production,editing,motion graphics?

i am in degree now... degree has to READ... lol...

i am not sure about multimedia design of TOA is same as LKW's...

what degree in TOA teach le? i mean those main one..like lkw the 4main thing is animation, 2d,3d modeling, web design etc.
